On August 18, 2024, I purchased a 2025 Honda Civic from Honda Tempe. During the sales process, I was misled into purchasing an additional $2,490 for a "PRO PACKAGE WITH TINT" and "EXTERIOR PROTECT-PREMIER." The salesman presented these add-ons as mandatory and non-negotiable, giving the impression that they were automatically applied to every vehicle and that I had no option but to accept them. At no point was it disclosed to me that these add-ons were optional, nor was I informed that I could purchase the base vehicle at market value without paying for these overpriced extras.When I brought up these concerns with the dealership, another salesman confirmed that these charges were used as a tactic to balance out the total trade-in deal value. To address my dissatisfaction, they offered me two free oil changes in exchange for a positive review on the post-sale survey, which I declined. I find this practice to be non-transparent and deceptive, falling short of the honesty and integrity I expect from a reputable brand like Honda. This approach may also raise concerns about consumer rights and ethical business practices.Adding to my disappointment, shortly after bringing my new vehicle home, I noticed that the windshield seal was chemically staineda defect that was not disclosed at the time of purchase. The salesman assured me that this issue would be resolved with a simple car wash, but despite multiple attempts, the stain remains. It's disheartening to have a brand new car with visible damage. Additionally, I have had to return to the dealership to address a persistent rattle noise coming from the vehicle. While I hope the service department can resolve this issue, it's concerning and unacceptable to experience problems with a new vehicle.

Our management team offered you 2 complimentary oil changes for your trouble having to come back to address a rattling noise you were hearing. Terrible! I brought my Honda Accord in for a fly wheel repair, which Honda sent an Advisory on in 2016, with a literally a brand new starter installed by AAA. The fly wheel only needed, according to Honda, a slight $230 shift and after review of the car a few other items I agreed to. When Honda called to give me the car back they said the brand new starter was not the "right" starter and said I should be taken back to AAA as the reason Honda didn't fix my car. I took the car back to AAA and they said the start is fine it is still the fly wheel. I then took it back to Honda and they said it would be $6000 for the fly wheel AND a new starter. Obviously they were talking out of both sides of their mouth so I took it to Allstate Transmission who fixed for $1500. Terrible!

This customer had an aftermarket starter installed that damaged the Flywheel.  The estimate reflects OE torque converter with a OE starter.  This is the only way we can guarantee the repair.
