On 10/16/24 I had Strongbuilt out for their $29 Air conditioner tune-up special. I was not having any problems with my A/C even through this record breaking summer heat. When done they said I had a coolant leak and needed four pounds of coolant added for $672 as well as needing an injection of Super Seal into the coolant line to possibly stop the leak for an additional $444. They did disclose that the leak seal only had a 50/50 chance of stopping the leak. I informed them for that cost I would contact my Home Warranty to get it repaired. For my $125, American Home Shield sent Absolute Heating and Cooling out to fix the problem two days later. The serviceman from ******** tested my HVAC and found nothing wrong or any indication of a leak or low coolant. He indicated that it was working perfectly and had an interior ductwork cooling temperature of 50 degrees. I believe this is a scam where for the low price of $29 for an A/C tune-up they get unsuspecting customers to buy unnecessary equipment, supplies, and maintenance. I did a ****** review and Strongbuilt replied that they were sorry I was not satisfied with their service. What I'd like is to be reimbursed the $125 I paid to ********************.

On August 21, 2024, 7:00am: I discovered a small leak coming from a water pipe in the master bathroom, above the commode.I immediately searched online for a plumbing company that could visit our home ASAP.I found Strongbuilt Plumbings listing, and, being familiar with their advertising, called to ask if I could get a plumber out on the same day to fix the leaky pipe.A plumber arrived at my home at 1:30pm, assessed the problem, and showed me an extensive list of materials hed need to perform the repair, as well explaining that the repair would not be a simple one, giving the impression that it would take a considerable amount of time to complete.While I did sign the work order, I did so under a feeling of duress. I was in a tight situation and did not have time to waste calling for estimates from different contractors on future dates. As it turns out, the extensive repair only took the technician one hour to perform, and the materials used did not look at all like the materials the technician showed me photos of before performing the work. The quality of piping used looked like ordinary white pvc sourced from the bargain bin at Lowes or *********** not the various colored quality piping I was shown photos of. Insult to injury, the work performed was shoddy.I am a senior citizen, 71 years of age, still working because of economic reasons. To be taken advantage of because the perceived notion that seniors are easy targets is unscrupulous and immoral, especially coming from a company that claims to be veteran owned.I made multiple calls of complaint to Strongbuilt, only to encounter evasive representatives that were not in the least interested in hearing, or doing anything about, my complaints.The grand total for the repair was $1,634.00, which I think is totally excessive, given the time, quality of materials, AND the shoddy workmanship performed.

I called Strong built April 26 2:24 PM stated my unit was down. I have a contract and I need somebody to come out. I was told I was scheduled for April 26 and somebody would call me and let me know when theyre coming after much waiting, I called the company back at 7:21 PM only to find out I was lied to no one was coming out. I stated into the girl on the phone that I knew nobody was coming out April 26. I wanted to see somebody tomorrow April 27. I will be calling on Monday canceling my contract and I expect a full refund will find a reputable company that doesnt lie to their customers do not use this company they are horrible and they do not stick by their word. They broke the contract. I will never deal with them again.

The Technician, ******************* did a good job , performed a Furnace Tune up , explained everything I need to know , sent pictures of what he did and found out . I am very pleased with what he did on my furnace and would gladly recommend him to anybody especially my friends, neighbors and my family.

I have been trying to get an answer to my plumbing issue. They installed substandard sink and faucet. They charge me $2500, which was the initial price for a porcelain sink. Sink. Ended up giving me a stainless steel sink. The faucet doesn't even match the rest of my kitchen. The kitchen hasn't changed. Plus, they didn't even give me an option of choosing my faucet. They just gave me one. So for $2,500 I think I got screwed. I can't get anything but a general answer from the company. I see the same answer for anyone that's dissatisfied.

This is not a complaint about the technician but instead about the ethics of the company owner, *******. Strongbuilt will charge you an absurd price for minimal work. Details below. True story from July 2023.My 84 year old father had been without AC for a few days. The technician replaced an expired compressor capacitor. Plus added a hard start kit due to high current draw. You can buy both of these parts from Amazon for less than $50. Total bill rom Strongbuilt was $859. Less than 30 minutes of labor, less than $50 of parts. $859.When I called the owner, *******, to dispute the charges, he had no remorse, and attempted to dispute the cost of the parts. Look it up yourself. 80/5 ** cap, and hard start kit for a 4 ton AC. I asked how he can justify $800 for less than 30 min of work. He said thats what it costs. Their hourly rate is about $1600 per hour. They wont tell you what their hourly rate is on the phone. But now you know. They wont tell you what a typical cost is for a simple repair. But when you get your $800+ bill, youll have been warned. After multiple calls, they did refund most of the money. I made the repair for my father myself. You can too. Watch a ******* video. Save yourself the headache. Or call a reputable business, but dont call Stongbuilt.

Good service! they are punctual and neat. I like their explanations and pictures, and the fact that they are veteran owned. I have a high school classmate who I went through the service with, that I stay in touch with. He owns and operates a HVAC company in **************. I bounce Strongbuilt's recommendations off him and he agreed with their assessment.

There is NO customer service at this company unless you comply with everything "they" need on " their terms.I confirmed my appointment yesterday after rescheduling all my doctor ************ and since my phone didn't ring when they called me 5 minutes before my appointment, they cancelled it.I called in an outrage and the women said the manager would call me, whom never did, and she actually hung up on me!I'm distugsted with this company!So unprofessional !

I paid $16,500 and the job was very shoddy. Trash was left everywhere under my house a dent was in the side of the new equipment. Promise to come out and tune up My AC for an extended panda program for longer period of time for failing to provide good service and either cancels or lies to me about appointment time. You get a different story every time I talk to them from office personnel to showing up at my home. Not showing up to finish work till a couple months later and work having to be redone because it was hacked from the beginning. I do not recommend using this business for they Don't hold to their word. I don't find them trustworthy and I will have my tune-*** done elsewhere from here out even though it will be out of pocket when I was promised it was going to be done by them for free since I was given such terrible service.
