I had ordered a torque converter from Autozone online on December 5th, 2023 for a total of $418.36. When I ordered the part it was VIN fit to my vehicle, upon receiving the part I returned the core immediately and received a refund of about $187 for returning the core. A few days later I was putting the torque converter on inside the transmission and realized it did not fit my transmission, I then took the transmission and torque converter to a transmission specialist in my area and he also verified the part was incorrect. I then took the torque converter to my local autozone store and returned the incorrect torque converter and received my money back for the torque converter which was around $215. They had already sent the core back to their warehouse so now I got most of my money back, but I dont have my torque converter core to be able to return it to another store for the correct torque converter. To break it down better, I paid $418.36 for the part and core charge, returned core, received $187 back for the core, returned the new part received $215, I recooperated most of my money, but now Im stuck without a core. They got my torque converter core for free and they tell me there isnt anything they can do being that its already been sent back. I need a core to be able to return to the parts store for the correct part. I should have all of my $418.36 back, and my core or a core back, they essentially got a free torque converter from me and they say there isnt anything they can do for me.

My complaint is in regards to overall customer service from auto zone. My first time receiving a delivery. And the part was incorrect. I called the store since it was same day delivery store address (*****************************************************************************************************). Spoke with ****** and let him know I received the incorrect item. ****** stated. thats not my problem. you have to bring it in. I let him know well unfortunately I cant because my car battery is dead (Im a single mom who doesnt have a 2 car luxury ). He again stated the exact word not my problem. So I proceeded to call customer care see if it was something they could do. They first hung up on the call then when I called back they stated oh well sorry theres nothing we could do you will have to take it back the system messed up on there end. I then asked well could you at least refund my delivery fee seeing as this is the systems fault not mine. ***** also stated no and I might not even get my money back on the wrong item. So non the less not only did I lose out on 200 dollars plus delivery fee now I have to try to find a ride and get a battery. I personally will definitely take my business else where from now on. This has been the most horrible non caring experience Ive been through. how sad is it where you guys can care so little about your customers who keep your business going.

Someone called ******************* opened an account with my email address, this account is fraudulent, and AutoZone needs to delete the account.Their customer service wants me to waste time trying to verify my account information by calling in to request the account be deleted.I have wasted enough time emailing them, the name in my email address is clearly different the name associated with the fraudulent account. I can prove that I'm ***********************, I can prove I live in **, but I'm not ******************* from CA so I can't verify any account information over the phone, AutoZone is having issues understanding this. They are clearly skimming the email and not understanding what the issue is.

AutozoneI was at a prayer meeting with some ladies a couple of days ago. After prayer, my friend confided in me that Autozone was shorting her husband his hourly pay by about 10 hours each pay period. She said since its his only source of income for his family of 4 that he just does not report it due to his fear of loosing his job. I think I would do the same thing if it meant that my family would suffer. However, I thought on this some and realized what would it hurt if I submitted this today. Companies can do whatever they want since the pandemic and people are afraid to speak up about it. So, hopefully you take this information seriously and act on it. He recently transferred from ********* to ******* more hours and pay increase. Thank You and can you help my friends husband? Anonymously

I was at a bar in *********** last week. This man I was talking to is a pizza delivery driver for ******************* Pizza. He worked for them for years and recently quit. I asked why? He said that he added up his credit card tips from customer tickets and the amount they gave him from the register each night in credit tips did not math the end of shift print out sheets. He said this company stole his tips! He showed me his papers that night. It averages in his pay to home making only 5 dollars an hour not more. I feel as an attorney that this company needs to be reported. I am not sure about HR rules for each state but doesnt credit tips have to be applied to payroll checks? Most of the time? Some days he did not get his gas mileage reimbursement each night as well and it was not applied to his payroll paycheck.

In December of 2019, I bought a Duralast gold car battery from the Autozone store in ******** *********. I received a warranty for a full 5 years for a free replacement if it stopped working within this 5 year period. On 31 January, 2023 the battery stopped working. It was completely drained and would not take a charge. I boosted my car and drove a few miles to the same Autozone that I bought this battery from. I was told I would need a new battery. I was in the system and they found that I had the 5 year warranty for a free replacement. Instead of exchanging the battery free as per the warranty, they refused to honor the free replacement and I was told that I could only get a prorated refund. I was charged $206.94 for the same battery minus a refund of $91.25 for a total charge of $115.69 for a battery that I had a 5 year warranty for a free replacement. I would like the refund for $115.69 and have Autozone to honor the warranty that I was guaranteed when I bought this battery.

On 12/22/2022 I used 3 Vanilla gift cards to pay for some brake supplies at AutoZone. The transaction froze midway through the transaction and the total of $108.97 was deducted from the 3 cards ($29.86 from one, $29.11 from another, and $50 from the last). I was told that it wouldn't deduct the amount and proceeded to pay with a credit card instead. It turns out the money was deducted from each card and now AutoZone is running me around for the past month acting like they are working on it, while I've had little to no communication on the status of this money.

$252.00 Spent On 10/14/2022 I purchased a Battery for my ***** MX-5. I started at the San Diego Autozone Woodlawn, who didn't have the battery but was so kind to call two other stores to check their inventory for that battery, the "43 third street store" had the battery. I paid for the battery and proceeded to the *************** store in San Diego. The customer service in that store was terrible! I cave the employee my receipt of purchase to pick up the battery, he and the other employees kept giving strange looks, "Female Black Glasses" maybe six minutes later I finally received my battery. The employee requested the "Core", I told him I don't have it yet, and I have time to return the "Core".I had to request they give me back my original receipt, finally they did. As I was leaving that store one employee was in front of me while I was caring the battery out the door! "That employee shut the door on me!" Why? I had to use my back to open the door to leave that store with my new battery. I noticed that store employers were all Hispanics and we all know now, how they hate Black people like myself. I will NEVER enter that racist store in my lifetime and I'm a Senior citizen. Such Hate!

I bought a part from autozone app, that said the part fits my car. When it arrived, I took my car to my repair shop to put it on. They found out the part did not fit my car. And it damaged my steering knuckle (spindle) on my car, because autozone sold me the wrong part.I had to purchase the correct wheel hub/bearing part as well as the broken steering knuckle (spindle). The price I paid for the correct wheel hub/bearing and spindle was $725.34 after tax. The receipt from ******************** is attached to this complaint.I feel that Autozone should pay for the broken part, because 1. They sold me the wrong part and 2. They need to be responsible for the damages my car went through because they sold me the wrong part.
