If I could give zero or negative stars, I would. My tankless water heater was turning itself off for no reason. My plumber spent hours on the phone with Noritz tech support and was eventually told they thought I needed a new control panel - If this was not the issue, it could be returned and a full refund given. The first one arrived damaged inside the box and was returned. The second one arrived, was installed, and did not solve the problem. After many more hours on the phone with Noritz, it was determined a setting needed to be adjusted: a resolution which should have taken no more than one hour. Since it would take even more wasted hours to uninstall the new control panel and but the original one in and I had already wasted well over $500 with my plumber either on hold or wasting time on inept tech support, I was told not to return the control panel - to keep it and they would refund the charge. I received two emails that the refund was pending. After a month of it still not being credited I disputed the charge with my credit card. Three months later Noritz told my credit card that no refund was due and they are not honoring the commitment made verbally or the emails stating the credit was pending.Besides wasting hundreds of dollars on plumbers time giving inaccurate and false information, they refused to honor their commitment to refund me if the control panel was not the problem - which it was not. It is bad enough that their tech support leaves people on hold for hours then wastes time because they don't know how to resolve the issue. To sell a part on the basis that if it is not needed it will be refunded, tell someone not to return it and it will be refunded, send emails stating it will be refunded, then refuse to issue the refund promised is disgraceful
