On today, 08/07/2024, I placed an online order at Applebees in ******, *******. I placed the order at 5:20 pm, and the app said it would be ready at 5:40 pm. I arrived to pick it up at 5:40 pm on the dot. The app indicated it was already completed. I sat waiting on my order for 40 minutes, and it was incomplete. They then brought me the wrong thing. I had to wait for it to be made. People sitting around the restaurant, dining in, who arrived and ordered after I was already waiting, got their food over and over again. Ultimately, I waited 53 minutes. Two Door-Dash drivers left and canceled their orders. One waited 15 minutes and one waited 30+ minutes. I was told that the kitchen was short. I dont know why the floor wasnt cut and someone sent to the kitchen to help. Regardless, Id like for someone to contact me regarding this matter.Initial Complaint

I HAVE BEEN TO THIS IHOP LOCATION AT (************************************************************)SEVERAL TIMES AND EACH TIME I HAVE VISITED I I HAVE HAD UNDERCOOKED OR OVERCOOK CHICKEN STRIPS.LAST VISIT WAS ON JULY 9, 2024, WHEN I ORDER THE STRIPS, THEY WERE BURNT AND SENT THEM BACK. WHEN THEY SENT MORE THEY WERE UNDERCOOKED I SPOKE WITH THE MANAGER AND I REQUESTED A REFUND, HE THEN TOLD ME I WAS NOT GOING TO GET A REFUND, BECAUSE THE PANCAKES WERE EATEN.Initial Complaint

On Monday July 29th, I visited the IHOP at ****************************************** with a friend. We both asked for the 2x2x2 deal for $6. We received the food, however when the bill came, the bill showed each 2x2x2 to be $8 instead of $6. I pointed this out to the server, ******. However he disputed that the deal is supposed to be $6. ****** claimed there was an advertisement by the door that showed the price was really $8. After viewing all the advertisements IHOP has posted by the front door, this was determined to be false. However, ****** wouldn't fix the price. It is clear that IHOP has engaged in false advertising based on the advertisement and when caught and asked for a remedy, the IHOP employee declined to fix the issue and furthered the lie on behalf of the company. At a minimum, I would like a refund of the price difference plus tax (4.41) although I believe it is more than fair for IHOP to provide a full refund based on their decision to violate the law and only share the price of the meal at the end after deliberately misleading the customer multiple times.Initial Complaint

I paid with my card for my meal on this particular Thursday dinner night. I always keep my receipts because of situations like these. I look at my bank statement over the weekend and the first transaction was the total amount with tip included roughly (25% tip). The second transaction on my bank statement was an additional charge for the same exact tip amount. I bring my receipt and bank statement to show the manager at the ************ Applebees for proof. As Im speaking with ****, the manager, thinking it would be an easy fix, he sees on my receipt that the tip was taken out twice and instead of an almost 25% tip it is now close to 50% tip. Instead of admitting fault, he prints off a sheet of my receipt and says everything is good on our end and it shows the amount and the tip. I said well the total amount listed on your sheet has the tip in there, and this lists an additional tip right here. I tried to explain to me I read it wrong. Lol. So instead of admitting fault again, he said well thats not how it reads on my sheet and I see no problems here. I simply asked for my additional tip that they took from me back in cash because I no longer want this Applebees touching my card since they essentially stole from me once. I was told to call corporate and they can give me my money back. I called them and no answer, I left voicemail and Im giving them a chance to make it right but it seems they want to steal instead of making it right. Some people would let 25% in a tip go but when its taken from you without consent, thats a different issue.Initial Complaint

I went to ihop on 103rd st and received poor customer service and continue to receive it.The food was either overcooked or not done at all. The server never paid attention to us. So I paid the $33.07. Two days later, I received a text saying that the price was updated to $38.07, meaning someone added a $5 tip we didn't authorize. I tried to contact the manager and the store multiple times to only get the answer that they either left early for the day or someone would call us back. I finally spoke to a manager named ****** a d he said that we was going to refund the money back, but we haven't heard anything back from him. I called again today and gotten the same response as before as no one was available to speak as they left early for the day.I was wanting my money back for the poor customer service and the unauthorized tip that was processed.Initial Complaint

Came into the IHOP was treated great by Ms. ******** She was sweetheart ***** was an excellent server and a great person. It didn't seem that she was new While I was there, I observed a ****** **** and eat food into from of customers and myself.Another off work male employee was hitting on another off work female employee. He was shouting obscenities while he was here.My food was terrible and overpriced. How do the pancakes and hashbrowns be so cold Online it states that the military discount is 20% and the manager refused to honor that discount nor did she thank me for my service The manager (******) was the most rudest and unprofessional manager I've ever seen. How can *****, my server be a better employee and more polite than the manager. On 7/19/24, I ordered a meal from IHOP that was delivered by DoorDash. The meal included grits that seemed to be pass the date of expiration. The grits were hard, had an off-color, and were molded to the container as one big lump. I tried softening the grits by chopping them with a spoon, and was not successful since they remained hard.A refund is not necessary. I am only requesting an investigation. If I had eaten the grits I may have become ill. The food quality is unacceptable from a dining establishment.Initial Complaint

Had a $50 gift card. Saving for rainy day. I'm in the military I ship in and I ship out. I'm on leave for several months. When to use the gift card... balance is zero! I've called Applebee's and gotten nowhere with people that don't have answers for me and acts stupid. The customer service line is ridiculous. There is no surcharge no dollar taken off a month for non-usage and I want to know where is my $50 so I can use it before I ship out again. Thank youInitial Complaint

Everytime I order from this place using delivery theres an issue. Always. Even informing the manager does nothing for the customer. *** waited a few months before ordering again in hopes that the staff was up to par but nope! Steak was incorrectly made and I was missing half my sides from my meals. Its not hard to check the ticket and make sure all items are with the order. Im sick of it. Back on Friday, July 5th, 2024, I, as well as my friend *** did NOT have a Very Good, Positive Dining Experience at your Applebee's Grill + Bar Located At: ************************************************************************************************************************* ************** Firstly, I ordered their Shrimp And Parmesan Steak which cost $49.00 and ****, the Server, had the ****** Nerve To Offer ME Gravy For My Mashed Potatoes And Then He Wanted To Charge ME $3.00 Dollars Extra! Are You Seriously Crazy? That Was Such A **** Turn-Off!I also ordered an Oreo Cookie Shake which cost $10.00 Dollars!Not Only Was My Food Beyond Expensive, But The Portions For Both The Parmesan Steak And The Oreo Cookie Shake Were Definitely QUITE SMALL AND OBVIOUSLY, "NOT WORTH THE PRICE"!Please Note: I Did Complain About This To ****, The Server Who Did Absolutely Nothing About It To Satisfy The Paying Customer!Again! Ridiculously Unprofessional!Please Note: I used to be a Server in a Restaurant And I Treated My Customers The Same Way That I Wanted To Be Treated! The Right Way!
