Walked in Friday evening for a part I needed. I looked through the aisles and was unable to find it. I showed the manager what I was looking for with my phone and told him it shows that you guys have it in stock, he replied yea, we have it in the back. Long story short, when I get home to instal the auto part, I realize I was given the wrong part. I looked at my phone and realized he the part he gave me was off by about a number. No big deal, I'll go back and get an exchange. When I get to the store close to 7pm there was a customer at the register being helped. I thought about waiting and I saw the same manager that helped me earlier restocking so I figured he could help , I said excuse me I was wondering if you could help me I was here earlier and you gave me the wrong part, automatically he replies very aggressively , I gave you the wrong part? That's the part you asked for and that's the part I gave you. I explained to him that he typed in the wrong number and the part number he gave me was off by a number. He looks at me and stares at me for a good 5 seconds very aggressively and says , you must be having a bad day and walks away and refused to help. I asked for his name and he replies it's on the badge bro you know how to read right , I didn't want to get closer to this man so I was unable to read the name. I asked for his district managers number and he said, it's on the door bro. He still refused to exchange the item and I had to wait for the register to open up. Orión the employee on the register was very professional I told him the situation he said not a problem I'll get you the correct part, brought it back I paid for the difference and that was that. I truly could not believe the professionalism this manager displayed. I would get most of my car parts at this Autozone since it's conveniently located close to me but I'll definitely drive a few blocks more and visita Oriley's instead.
