I purchased a Service Contract with this company on 10.18.19 for my 2014 ****** Tacoma through ***************** ******. In September of 2023, I traded this vehicle in for a newer vehicle. Since then, I have attempted multiple times to speak to someone regarding my refund. In November we called ************ and spoke to ***** and was transferred to ******** at ************ who then transferred us to the Cancellation department and the automated said we'd get a call back within 4-5 hours. Nothing happened. In April, called ************ and ************ and was transferred to ************ and left a voice message and still never received any assistance. Due to my many times calling, they no longer verify anything, they just answer and let me know I will receive a call within 2 hours and now we are at the point to where no one answers. This is quite ridiculous, and I feel that this company has done nothing to help me receive my refund I am entitled to. I would love to speak with someone in regard to this.Business response

I purchased a warranty policy for 5 years or ******* miles in June of 2020. I sold the vehicle in Aug of 2023. I am due a prorated refund for the unused portion of the policy. Even though I spoke with someone in Aug and reported the cancellation I was required to send some paperwork to the company. The first letter never showed up? They said they didn't receive it? The second letter was returned to sender??? I put a tracker on the third letter, Oct 23, and they received it. I contacted them and they confirmed they received the paperwork and I should have my refund in 6 to 9 weeks from that date. In Jan 24, after not hearing form them, I attempted to contact customer **********************. They had a messenger service answer the phone and take the message. They would then send a message to customer **********************. After at least 10 attempts, on the 16th of Jan, my phone rang one time. I picked it up to a dial tone. I attempted to call back with no luck. After another 10+ attempts I finally, was called back. When I inquired about the refund, I was told that someone had already told me on, Jan 16, that it would be 6 - 9 weeks from that date. I did not speak with anyone on that date. After the next 20+ attempts, I was called back twice. The first one looked it up and said that it was in billing. They would contact billing and call me back. Never did! The next one said it was being processed in billing that I should in about 8 days. If not to call back. I haven't received it and I've tried another 10 to 15 times to get a call back with nothing. It's been nearly 10 months and I can't even get a call back from this company. I've sent messages to the website and still received zero response. To date I received nothing...not even a phone call.Business response

I purchased their premium deluxe package for extended warranty on my 2017 GMC. We were on a trip and driving home and the vehicle was having issue shifting. I tried to reach the warranty company and did not have a number or the warranty information with me to reach out to the company.When I got home I immediately contacted the company and they asked if the vehicle was drivable, which I informed them that it was. They asked me targeted question like "when did you notice the issue" I replied with "when I was driving home from a trip". They then informed me that I needed to take the truck to a ASE certified mechanic, and so we did. The first mechanic decided that he did not want to deal with the warranty company and said we needed to take our vehicle somewhere else. So after searching for over a week, we found another mechanic 1 hour away and took our truck. They stated that the clutch in the torque converter is going out and rear bearings. The warranty company immediately denied the claim stating that we should have immediately stopped driving and taken it to a mechanic to be looked at. The mechanic even told the warranty that he doesn't agree with the warranty company and that it should be covered. I am asking to have the warranty either approve the claim or refund the warranty money that I paid to them for their services as they are now denying the warranty policy that was paid for. This is a scam, and I do not recommend anyone utilizing their services!!! They denied due to driving the vehicle home due to not having any contact information for the warranty company. I search for hours and didn't have the booklet on me. Come to find out they state you must immediately have your vehicle towed and taken to a mechanic which they will only reimburse up to $75/day for out of pocket expenses.Business response

I brought a warranty. I paid the warranty off. I sold the car that the warranty covered. I called and requested a refund that they said I could get just send in a few documents which I did. Now they are refusing to send me my refund and they said I was *********** it.so once they process it they said they would expedite it all lies, but I have paid them for a warranty that I only used once and my car only had ****** miles on it when I sold it and I had the car 5 years it was a brand new car.so I been calling they not call back it feels as though they have no intention on giving me my money back but Im not going to stop until I get it back I dont have money to just give away they said I was *********** my refund but they refuse to give it to me. So Im asking for help to get my refund back . I sent the documents overnight and requested a signature so I know they received them.Business response

I'm not satisfied with the price auto services responded with and I would like to reject my decision only because they not giving me all my money ****** is not my refund I'm still giving away ******* and I'm totally not satisfied with that I will keep complaining until I get the rest of my money these people know darn well they are not performing professionally and I am highly upset I was not before I was trying to be cordial about the situation but this is utterly ridiculous. Auto Services owes me money and I want it I refuse to be handled by these people how they still in business. Thus is my complaint number #********. I'm not happy with them keeping ****+ dollars I would like to reject my decision to accept ****** of my money they are unprofessional in every way. ************************* ***********************.

In March 2023 I received the call offering extended vehicle service for my 2016 ****** They said that I can cancel in 30 days.I agreed to buy it. I paid $2700.00 for the coverage from credit card.I received the paperwork from the "Vehicle Service Department" with contract #IJJMC60115.Later, the same Month I called the number provided with a contract and cancelled the contract.After that I called them many times and every time I would talk to somebody different and they will confirm that yes, contract been cancelled and yes I will receive my money but it takes 4 to 6 weeks. I also sent regular mail with copy of the contract pages including cancellation notice. I called them and they said they did not have the mail. I sent them another copy of contract with cancellation with certified mail. US post office could not confirm the delivery to the address provided: Vehicle Service ***** **********************************************************************. I called again and again and every time somebody answered and found my contract and confirmed that it has been cancelled and I will receive refund in 4 to 6 weeks. Every time the person who answered was just a messenger who had information about the contract but had no direct responsibility and when I asked to be connected to somebody in the company they would either refuse or say that they will transfer me to billing department or service department or something else at which point call will never be connected.Business response

I was in the middle of settling my partners estate who had past away in May 2022. I was selling his home and assets and I was alone for the 1st time in 25 years. I received this mailing about additional auto coverage for a vehicle we had just purchased a few months earlier. I called the company and they talked me into buying the coverage. This was in August 2022. They started to pull ****** per month automatically from my bank account. I called the company in October to cancel. They have this automated message that makes you think you are canceling, when indeed, nothing happens. Come to find out this 3 Rd party company that does the billing, which calls itself by many different names gives me the run around so bad I almost just gave up. They are called *************, also AUTO HOME PAYMENT PLAN and a few other names as well. They have told me multiple things like I am not in their system, They have nothing on my name, address or phone number. I have gone to my bank and put a block on this 3rd party billing company and canceled my debit card to keep them from billing me. I finally found the Auto Protection Center in ******, **. that is responsible for this. I never received any paperwork on this policy. Their phone # ************. # for ************* is ************. I have spoken with customer ********************** at this Auto Protection on 2 separate occasions, giving them my policy number and asking them to cancel this policy. They say they will but they dont. They are still getting money out of my bank account. I am not sure how since I put a block on them and canceled my **** card. Yesterday they took ****** again. They are now calling themselves GBC-****** ****** PROV CR PAYMENT PLAN. This is twice this month they have taken money out of my account. I am retired, I have tried endlessly to cancel this and get them to stop. Please help me. I guess my next option is to cancel my accounts at the bank. Please Help!! I used the local ***** Dealership and after paying $2,426 on August 28, 2020, out of pocket for 5 years of Car Guard coverage thinking this would cover services at *****, I found in March 2021 that none of the ***** parts would be covered and they only covered $254.30 of a $1,229.85 bill - which ended up being $154.30 after the $100 deductible. I also never received this payment of $154.30 due to the dealership closing before approval granted. I called in June 2021 to cancel and found out that I couldn't just call to cancel. I rigorously followed the policy cancellation instructions and submitted a certified mail cancellation letter on 8/25/21 with an imaged of my odometer, etc. I called in September in 2021 with the assurance that I would receive 4 years of the warranty refunded to me. Well it is 3/14/23 and I have called about 15 times in the last two years to get my refund check to no avail. At this point when I leave a message because you can't call directly and they just don't call me back. My brothers are both attorneys so I will be reaching out to them to find out how I can *** in small claims court to get the appropriate prorated refund. I understand I was covered for 1 year, so that would mean I should be getting a check in the amount of $1,940.80. Its worth it to me to get this money owed back to me.Business response

I canceled my vehicle warranty back in September with all the proper documents. I was told that the refund would take 6 to 8 weeks. So I called yesterday to inquire about the day and the form the refund would be issued in and was told to call back today. I called back today and was treated very rudely and still haven't got a date for the refund and the waiting period is up. When I asked questions about thing on the account I was told the he could not see specific dates. He also told me a check was mailed out and canceled and when I asked him about the date and why the check was canceled he couldnt tell me. I need help getting my refund back. For whatever reason they keep giving me the run around.Business response

I purchased an extended car warranty for ******* on June 06, 2018. My plan term is 60 months or ****** miles. My plan service contract number is SAM250014. My car was totalled by another driver on August 20, 2022. I initated a cancellation for a pro-rated refund, because I am the owner of the vehicle. I was informed in February that they owe me no monies after I have been trying to contact them since August. This is a direct breech of the contract I entered into with them. I would like my pro-rated reimbursement on my extended car warranty.Business response
