Purchased a trademark from Trademarkia. I was charged $99 for a quarterly charge and $350 for another change. Before the next quarter even came around they charged me an additional $99 and I called about it to ask why and to recommend refund. The employee informed me I would be receiving a refund within **** business days. I never received it so I called back a week later which was 3/17/23 and no one had put in my refund nor has a attorney contacted me since I officially paid for this service before 2/6/23. I asked to speak with a dupe and they tell me they dont have one available in my timezone. Something isnt right!Business response

The client was contacted by our Business Analyst who further explained and educated him on the requirements and stipulations of our $99 Bundled Plan of which he was very appreciative of and apologized for misunderstanding it initially.
Furthermore, he was happy with the solution we provided by issuing him a full refund as well as additional support by our Business Analyst regarding any future purchases along with a better turnaround time with an Attorney assignment.The client is now happy and satisfied and looks forward to working with us in the future.

I went on their website to pay for a package that is offered on their website to respond to office actions on a trademark that I filed on completely on my own. After reaching out to speak with someone about my purchase on the 5th day I finally got a response. That I was way undercharged and could only be helped if I sent another $500 to complete my office action which only needed a class removed and resubmitted to complete the application and response. Then when I asked for a refund I was told that I couldn't receive a full refund due to legal advice I was given when all I was told was the so called "Lawyer" trying to talk me into allowing him to keep my initial payment of $279 to extend my application for 6 more months until I could pay the rest of the money. The site is a complete rip off and scam or else why would they have packages in place on their website for a set price only to tell you that they don't know why the site has them set at that price I just want my money back from them and not $209 for the nonexistent legal advice that was never given I want the entire refund and if that's not what they charge for their services they should reflect that on their site instead of taking from unsuspecting customers that are paying for what a site supposedly charges for their services.Business response

The client in question accessed our website and signed up for an Attorney's assistance on an Office Action response.
Upon completion of making the $279 (Standard Package) payment and the matter was assigned to an Attorney, it was found that the response required was based on the complexity of the Office Action which warranted much focus and dedication; notwithstanding, the correspondences between the Attorney and Client in order to quickly bring a resolution to the issue at hand.
Soon after, the Client requested a refund but was told that we cannot issue a full refund of payment as we charge professional legal fees for the legal advice we provide; for his matter, the Attorney reviewed his Office Action and provided his opinion over a consultation, which was valuable legal advice.
He further stated that some of the payment needs to cover our costs for the services rendered. Instead of a $279 refund for the office action response that he chose not to proceed with, we can offer you a refund of $209 to cover the time for the consultation and advice. Alternatively, we can offer a $279 credit towards future work.
Not long after, the Attorney came to a conclusion that we care less about receiving a bad review than we do leaving a client with a bad impression as it's our aim to provide the required assistance that's needed by our clients. After-which, the client in question and the Attorney came to an agreement and the issue was resolved.Initial Complaint

I would like my information removed from the Trademarkia website and records immediately. My privacy request made directly to their public email at ******************************** has been open since January 25th. Trademarkia is still using my information on it's website now. https://trademark.trademarkia.com/*********************************** Trademarkia lists my personal information along with the serial number of my trademark. I did not give permission for my personal information to be posted. I would like my information removed from the Trademarkia website and records permanently, and also request that none of my personal information which you have collected without my permission be distributed to any affiliates or third-parties, or subject to processing in any way.
