I am writing on behalf of ************************. *************** in an else Vietnamese woman who enlisted the help of ***************************** a broker, Mission Equity Management to refinance an investment property. He failed to appropriately explain to her that he has placed her in a hard money loan that he told her she could pay off in one month. He ***** to tell her that there was a prepayment penalty of over $100,000 . When this was realized he told her that he would pay her back a total of $42,000 for additional fees. He has been dragging this for a year making no payments. ************** has endured financial hardship as a result of his negligence as well as suffereing meotional and health stress. He has been dragging her file and not payime her back. Now he also has had her send property tax to him which he has not turned to the state . She is getting letters of non payment from the state. we reached out to him tonight to see where his payments are and he is now telling us that he that he is "completely broke and no longer a broker in mortgage. I am going to restart my life in 2023 . MIssion equity is shut down".This man is a fraud and is stealing money from elder immigrant that relay on him for translation and help. Please help us.
