I purchased a used/new EcoFlow River Max units from the original owners. The unit was 2 years old when purchased. The company states there is a 5 year warranty on the product. The unit stopped working and the company refuses to repair the unit because there is no proof of purchase and then later stated they no longer support this unit. The original owner also does not have proof of purchase because it was part of an upgrade package from SylvanSport. The company continues to ask for emails only to refer to previous emails. This company already has a 1.14 rating on BBB and has hundreds of complaints on various ****** searches. On September 2nd I ordered an over $8,000 Ecoflow Delta Pro Ultra, Delta Pro battery, Smart Panel 2 and installation packaged system. While items were being delivered. I found out about EcoFlows bad customer and technical support, and they only offer it through email. Saw many complainants about equipment that fails and leave customers stranded with no power. I requested refund under their 30 day return policy for full refund. The *************** inverters was recalled through ***** by the company before delivery to my home and returned and signed for by **** at their Walnut CA store. They have had the device for over a week and have not refunded my card for it or the Installation charge. The Battery and Smart Panel did arrive via ***** to my home. They sent ***** Return *** for them. ***** picked them up on 9/9/2024, shows driver scanned them but then the driver stole them. Because EcoFlow is the shipper they will not with filling a claim or even telling me if the *** they arranged was insured. They also haven't refunded for the part they did get and installation charge per their 30 day return policy. The company believes that an 8K charge be resolved with emails that take 3+ days to respond to. I need the company to help with ***** claim, because they are the shipper, or I will lose out on over 5k. I need to speak with the back office returns department to get this resolved. The ***** number are just call takers and can't help.Initial Complaint

I ordered May 6th in preparation for going off grid. I did not set up the system until August 5th. A few days later the system gave the overload error when we hadn't overloaded the system at all . It no longer will charge even when we try to charge it from an outlet. I tried contacting them but they said since I had it for more than 30 days they would send me a refurbished unit that may only have 90%efficiency and the process would take around 30 days and that a new replacement wasnt an option. I asked to talk to a supervisor and when I didn't accept no for an answer she hung up on me. The "team" that takes care of refunds is only able to be contacted through email so after 4 days of no emails I called back and they said my request was not properly submitted . I have children and live very rural this wait time isn't doable for me .Initial Complaint

I am preparing for extended power outages with back up propane gas for cooking, drinking water and food supply. I wanted a battery power station as well. On 2/2/2024 I bought an EcoFlow Delta 2 with two solar panels from ****** for $818.00.I charged it up used up 50% of the battery, recharged it to 100% and stored it in a cabinet in my garage. In August 2024 I took it out for fall inspection. The battery was totally dead and could not be recharged. I complained to the company and asked for my money back. They explained that after six months they could not replace the unit with anything other than a refurbished unit. The warranty on my paperwork clearly says one year. They also explained that this was my fault as I should be performing a deep discarge and recharge to 100% every 90 days to prevent this problem. They do not explain this in the product manuals they sent nor does it appear in any advertising. Had I known I would have to deep discharge every 90 days I never would have bought the ********** the same time I bought a Togo 350 power station. I set it up, used it for awhile, recharged it and put it in the cabinet next to the EcoFlow. Six months later it still held a charge of 93%. That is my expectation for emergency power back up.I want a refund I have no use for a power station I need to maintain every 90 days.Initial Complaint

Ordered 2 different purchases. First in June. Never got item. Was sent to wrong address. Second in July and got tracking info but was never sent to fed ex. Told me today my order was lost. Two delta two batteries that were paid for and never arrived. Use caution with this company. They have failed to deliver two orders that were paid for. These were $800 each, not $20 ones. They are still taking orders in August and not delivering on ones from June 2024! Terrible customer service.Initial Complaint

The journey started with a $4800.00 purchase of the Wave2 with add on battery, the Delta Max 2 battery, the alternator charger, and all the necessary accessories that are not included with the equipment. Think $60-140 per special cable of which you need many. Then I was informed that the Delta Max 2 batteries and all the other similar models where on back order and would be fulfilled 2 months later. Yet the websites are still taking consumers money without providing this notice.Tracking numbers did not show order updates or estimated delivery times. I contacted customer support and they refused to send my battery, would not offer any refunds, and certainly would not offer product substitutions. I read all the manuals and literature. I watched countless ******* videos about these products because I wanted to educate myself while I waited. After installing my equipment per Ecoflows instructions (which are sparse and horribly uninformative) I was nervous to see if my purchase would pay off. It did not. Ive been in contact with customer support and product support very often. They are not friendly and they are not accommodating. They treat their customers pretty badly to be honest. I updated my products firmware several times to make sure its installed. I was told by the product support team that they would prioritize a pushed update to my equipment within 48 hours. They did not do the thing they said theyd do. My equipment is bricked straight from the EcoFlow site. I am spending countless hours troubleshooting their defective equipment. The equipment is VERY proprietary. The cables have 8 pins. Two for power and six for CANBUS communication. Without the software to talk to this equipment it will not function. Proprietary software. If you are missing the smallest bit of information that customer support or tech support requests they will deny service. Even when presented with proof of purchase and accompanying order numbers/serial numbers.Initial Complaint

I reached out to the business regarding a screeching issue with their Wave 2 portable AC unit. I got a few emails back giving non-answers about how to clean the dust covers for the unit, when it was clearly a mechanical failure on the internal of the machine. I emailed them two days ago to see if they can get a look or replace it, and they told me my warranty needs to be renewed for them to do anything or just order a new one and hope for the best.Every time I am able to run the evaporative function for half a day and then it starts screaming (similar to *******************************************)Initial Complaint

on June 2, 2024, I purchased an Ecoflow bundle for $6,200. It arrived a week later. July 8th, the power went down in ******* and I took out my Ecoflo with the 400w solar panel and it did not want to charge. I called as soon as I could call out to Ecoflo for them to diagnose it and I was told that the solar panel was defective and they would send a replacement. / They never called back so I called them back and they said that the 400w panel was incompatible with the batteries. I told them i wanted a refund and they said I had passed the 30 days.I have been calling and emailing them and they reply that they are researching it. Meantime I'm worried about our next storm. I could use that money for a generator instead. This is misleading and I want to return the entire unit and receive a full refund.Initial Complaint

On 15July2024 I ordered the Delta 2 Max ****** from the EcoFlow website.The item was delivered on 21July2024.Looking at the box it was a different Model number from what I ordered.I did not open it.On 22July2024 I phoned Customer Support and described what I received and was told to open the box. Sure enough, the Model number and watt hour rating were not what I ordered.Made contact via email return the item .And today I'm told via email that have to pay return shipping and a 2.6% credit card fee for their mistake. And I'm like , What kind of business model is this company using.It's fraud in my opinion to knowingly send the wrong item and then refuse to work with the customer and then put the burden on the recipient.The Model I received is not even listed on their website, it's Model EFD329. I think it is a model that is sold in other countries,not the ****I paid for Model EFD350 and did not receive it. It's a bait and switch scam that they (EcoFlow) are doing to people. They need to be taken to court and prosecuted.I was offered a free camping mat or $30 , basically to keep my mouth shut.I'm not that person, I want what I paid for. Better Business Bureau (BBB) Due to the continuous news about hurricanes, in these months and depending on the place where we live, my wife and I decided to contact ECOFLOW, to buy a "Generator", to have electricity, in case of emergency. On May 26, 2024 we purchased the Ecoflow 160 W portable solar panel generator and the Ecoflo Delta Pro and Smart Panel, which was received on May 30, with the recommendation that we should contact a certified Electrician, because in case of any failure Ecoflow will not takes responsibility. For that, Ecoflow gave us 2 names, one in *****, ** and another in ******, **, both live 5 hours from ***********, **, where we live. However, we contacted both electricians, neither of them agreed to come due to the distance. 2 months have already passed and WE HAVE NOT FOUND the certified electrician who is responsible for installing the purchased equipment.Our claim is the following:1.- We cannot return the Generator, due to the time elapsed.2 It could not be installed, because WE DID NOT FIND THE CERTIFIED ELECTRICIAN, who is willing to install the Ecoflow generator and the smart panel 3. They have already started the monthly discount and we do not have the service for which was paid.4 We want to "return the purchase", because it is not working. My wife and I appreciate the proper management that you they can perform.
