I purchased a 2019 ***** Tahoe from Marin imports on 3.2.24. the vehicle was driven back to my home and parked for a couple of days. When I drove the Tahoe for the first time since bringing it home, I noticed that there was a puddle of water on the ground of the driver side floor area and there was also mold growing under all of the floor mats. I contacted *** at Marin imports and explained the situation as well as my concerns. Not only was my toddler born with lung issues and suffer from other medical conditions, but it is also just not safe for any of us to be breathing in mold.*** agreed to have the vehicle towed to their shop to be sanitized of the mold as well as fix the leak and tow hitch and scratches that he agreed to fix at the time of purchase. *** stated that the vehicle would be ready in two days. they had my vehicle for a total of 8 days before letting me know it was ready for pick up. At pick up, the vehicle was still filthy, the floor was soaked, and mold was still present. the tow hitch was not fixed and the scratches were not repaired. in addition, there was new damaged present. one of the rims was severely damaged, a new dent, scratxh as well as a cracked bumper. *** stated that he would file a claim with his personal AAA account since that is how the vehicle was towed. *** stated that he would send me a check for $300 to help cover the costs of travel and detail but never acknowledge the fact that the leak was not repaired. He also lied and said that their shop repaired things that were obviously not repaired. He lied several times and became rude when we called him out on these lies and he just tried to walk away. He also claims that my car was towed to their walnut creek location, yet I picked it up in **************** with the same exact amount of mile remaining as when the vehicle was towed. The entire time they had my vehicle, *** refused to give me the address or contact number for where the vehicle was located. *** is a liar and unprofessional.
