We delayed writing this review in hopes that Outdoor Craftsmen would work with us to find a resolution, to no avail. As such, we want to share our experience in hopes of sparing others from a similar situation. We had a very disappointing experience with Outdoor Craftsmen. We trusted them to provide and plant healthy trees. When one of the trees started to decline within a couple weeks of being planted, the owner of Outdoor Craftsmen showed a lack of concern after multiple follow-ups. This was before we even received the final bill and payment request. We resorted to hiring two different arborists who immediately identified a significant borer infestation and consequential woodpecker damage, along with significant trauma to the trunks of most of the trees they transported and planted. The tree in question died within a couple months of being planted despite proper irrigation. It's unacceptable for a professional landscaping company to sell trees in such condition and ignore concerns when presented. On multiple occasions we asked them to work with us to resolve the situation and they refused. We would not recommend Outdoor Craftsmen.

Its important to note that our clients visit our nursery to personally inspect the trees they will be receiving. This ensures that you have a clear understanding of the plants condition before installation.Regarding the tree in question, it did not show any signs of stress or health issues at the time of planting. However, we understand that unforeseen circumstances, such as animal damage, can affect even the healthiest trees, particularly with larger, more mature specimens. While this is not uncommon in our industry, we always aim to communicate these risks transparently with our clients.In your case, we agreed to special pricing under the understanding that the tree would not be covered under our standard warranty, a detail that was discussed prior to installation. Its unfortunate that the tree did not survive despite proper care, and we empathize with your frustration.We are committed to learning from every situation and continuing to improve our services.
