June 2021 I paid 1,150 dollars for a gold plated custom 1911 45 Julie took a payment from my credit card and said 4 weeks from that date she would call back I would then pay the remainder of the full amount and the custom pistol would be shipped that day came to no avail they never called when I call there phone is out of order at that time I knew I’d been worked over!! On 10/26/2021 I placed an order for a commemorative rifle offered by this company. I paid 50% down, with the other 50% due upon shipping. Ship date was expected to be 04/06/2022. On 04/18/2022 I emailed the company to find out why it had not shipped. At that time I was told, through an email, that the company was closing and that I would be contacted regarding my outstanding order. After no communication on their part, I emailed several other times with only their same response. I have receipts and emails documenting all this. I would like to file a complaint against the company and the individuals operating it.Initial Complaint

Never received the rifle that had been paid for. Thru other social media determined the owner of the company died and a lot of people are out a lot of money. I tried filing a complaint with the co atty general but they dont do private complaints? Is anything being done?Initial Complaint

I ordered a gun last year (2021) and sent the company a down payment of $790.00. I got a hold of them toward the end of last year. They told me the gun would be ready in February of 2022. They have not contacted me, and I cannot get a hold of them to get my money back. This is just like everybody else's complaints that I have viewed here. Do you or anyone else have any suggestions on how I can get my money back.Initial Complaint

I purchased a rifle in August 2021 ans started making monthly payments. The last payment was completed in December 14, 2021. I was told that the rifle will be shipped upon completing the payment (before Christmas 2021. I called the office first week of January 2022 to see why the rifle was not delivered as promised. They told me there is a delay in production and they will ship it in two week. I have been calling them every two weeks or once a month since then till April 2022. I had been receiving the same excuse every time. In fact, in my last call that I was able to talk to some, I asked that they cancel my order and refund my money. They did not. I contacted my credit card company to see if they can retrieve the payment. They told me that they can do this only within 60 day of each purchase payment. Heroes and Patriots disconnected their phone in about April or May of 2022, the phone started ringing busy signals. I checked with the BBB, and noticed many complaints of similar nature. An article in **** Bulletin suggested to contact the State AG and BBB and leave a complaint.Initial Complaint

I purchased a gun in November 2021 from Heroes and Patriots LLC. Lady on phone stated gun would be on backorder until July therfore I decided to do the layaway option she suggested. I paid $200 Nov 11, Dec 11 2021, Jan 11 and lastly February 11 2022 totalling $800 When payments did not come out for March and April I called both number always getting busy tone. I sent an email all to no avail. Upon ****** searching for more info my heart dropped when it said "Permatley Closed". File dispute via credit card company not sure how it will go but sure would like my gun or my money back.Initial Complaint

Bought a ***** .45 for $2495.00 through monthly payments for $100. To date $1215 has been payed. Payments stopped in March of 2022. Multiple phone calls attempted all busy signals. Multiple emails sent and have yet to be answered. Contact made through website with no answer.Initial Complaint

July 2021 my husband ordered a ***** **** ******* ***** ************* Pistol from this company. They began monthly payments on August 2nd and to date we paid a total of $1,450. In March 2022 the payments stopped without any notice from the company and when we tried to inquire, phones are constantly busy. In doing my own research, I found out that the founder died on October 8, 2021 - yet they continued to take payments out of my charge account for the next four months afterward. Also please note that in their advertising brochures, it is twice stated to be accredited by the BBB. In calling another company of this owner, I was told Heroes and Patriots is filing for bankruptcy. I have been writing not only to them, but to associated companies as well in the hope that they will do the right thing and return the money owed to people. For a man (owner who died) who worked almost 40 years to protect the 2nd Amendment and Gun Rights, what they do now determines his legacy. BTW, the lawyers, ******** * ***** have yet to respond.
