              I checked into ***** **** ********* ****** the afternoon of 07/23/2022. I quickly got changed and left for the night. My fiance and I returned to the room at roughly 2:00am. At that time the room was noticeably warmer than earlier. The a/c was blowing warm air, so we lowered the temperature to 68. At that time we noticed there was MOLD in the a/c unit. I then lowered the blanket on the bed only to discover brown, horribly smelling stains all over the linen (sheets & pillow cases). I walked to the office hoping to get different linen. No one was there. A few minutes later my fiance went to the office and no one was there. My fiance and I then packed up our stuff and drove nearly an hour to get home. It completely ruined our weekend! I called the hotel on Monday, 07/25/2022. After being on hold for 12 minutes, I was disconnected. I called again on 7/28/2022 to receive a message that their mailbox is full. I tried for the third time an hour later and spoke with "Shawn". After explaining the details to Shawn, he explained that he will NOT give me my money back but would give me a voucher to stay 2 nights in the future. This hotel was so deplorable, I would never stay there! His reply to issuing a refund was no because I did not CALL the office. I explained to him that I did not call because there was no one in the office to answer the call. He then proceeded to call me a liar - because he was standing in the exact room (154) that I was in that night, and that at this time, it was 64 degrees in the room. It was 78 degrees when I was there on 7/23.

              Left this email for the manager… would never go back here again even for free. Hello Shawn, I am inquiring about a refund ASAP. I booked room 130 and it was a terrible experience. The shower was dirty, the humidifier was packed with thick thick dust, and also the room has bugs everywhere!! In the window sills, under the table, behind the chairs. What made me start looking around the room was I saw about 5 bugs crawling accords the floor and I killed them. Then I kept seeing more so I looked under the bed and the floor was covered in bugs. I will attach pictures. I asked the staff member at your front desk for a refund and I was very respectful although I did not sleep or shower because your room was absolutely horrid. It is board of health BAD!! I was told your assistant manager Katie woukd be in at 8:15 and could help me out with a refund and approve it through hotels.com. Your “assistant manager” Katie claims she actually is not a manager. She informed me you were the manager. I had asked her if I could have your phone number and she gave me a smart a** comment back. I can give you our hotel #. Why would I call the lobby when I’m standing in the lobby?? I then asked for your hotel email and she claimed “Shawn does not have a manager email”. I then go on your website and find your email right on the website. Not only was your manager not polite, she could have cared less the room was infested with bugs, and she lied to me. I left your box springs up and pulled everything out so it was an easy clean for you guys and could visibly see why I want a refund now. This is a board of health issue and hope you can resolve this issue for me.
