My experience with Mountaintop Trucking was extremely unpleasant. They delivered my load, but disregarded my instructions and deposited it in the wrong spot. Additionally, as the truck maneuvered onto my property, it caused significant damage to my driveway. When I brought this to the driver's attention, he dismissed it with a laugh and a shrug. After contacting the company with photos of the damage, they callously informed me that they deal with numerous complaints about their drivers damaging property, and fixing them all would hinder their delivery schedule. To make matters worse, the quality of the delivered material was subpar, and the company refused to take responsibility for it. Their lack of accountability and poor customer service left me deeply dissatisfied.

I am responding to **** *** complaint about our company. Respectfully i have to disagree with ****** complaint. First let me address the material quality. **** was doing a drainage job, and he ordered process material, not crushed stone, which is what he needed. We do not tell people what to order, we deliver what they order. ( and we try our best to recommend the correct product) All of our earth products are tested and approved by the state of ** as well as multiple municipalities that we supply. **** ordered the wrong material for his project, plain and simple and he wants to hold us accountable for his error. He admitted to us that he ordered the wrong material. Now the driveway. **** was outside when our truck arrived, and backed up our driver himself. Never did he say stop or your damaging his driveway. He directed our driver to go up his driveway because that is where **** wanted the material. Further, all of our trucks have cameras in them, and his driveway was already compromised and cracked. Further, when you order 15 tons of material, plus the weight of the truck, what do you think will happen to a household driveway that wasn't in the best of shape nor designed to withstand truck weight, but we did what he asked us to do. Oil delivery trucks park in the road to deliver oil because of the weight of their trucks. **** Wanted it in a specific location and had the driver back into the driveway all the time backing the driver up to the unload position. I was in the office and overheard one of our members speaking to **** on the phone. He was not callus as **** stated. He tried to explain exactly what i am saying here, with no disrespect at all. We value our customers and go out of our way to try our best to satisfy them. As for our driver laughing at him? Billy, our driver, is 70 years old, been in this business for decades, and this is the very first time he has ever been accused of being disrespectable to anyone. I am sorry **** is upset, and he’s frustrated he ordered the wrong material that will not work for the intended purpose. Mountaintop Trucking
