On 6/21/2024 my baby and I were admitted to the ** for a severe cold. I later found out I had Pneumonia and was prescribed meds and antibiotics. My 3 year old son was fine.I was checked in via valet and then came in to be searched & my son's backpack to be completely emptied out by the scurityguard. Inside that backpack was my $114 Samaung Galaxy Buds Pro 2.I was T**RIBLY sick and was doing my best to keep up with my very energetic son, not able to make sure everything was returned (plus I had faith the man would have).My ear buds were in the front small pocket of my son's backpack. So he returned the bag and I went to the next desk to check both my son and I out. I was there about 15/20 minutes because I also had to get vitals done for the both of us, then talk to a nurse before being checked in. I say all of this because, if anything was left behind, the security guard at that check point had at least 20 minutes to notify me and return it back ... but that was not done.We both then we're checked in and seen. The whole time while there, I only took out our waters and my son's headphones to stay hydrated and keep him entertained. I was much too weak to do anything other than fill out our admission information. The rest of the time I just sat in my chair holding my son.I am a content creator and musician, and that is how I make any kind of money right now, so those ear buds are V**Y important to me being that I use them DAILY for editing purposes. I am also in school full time from ******* (from home) and need them at home so that I can concentrate and be able to hear the lectures (with three little ones and multiple adults around at all times they are needed).I have screen shots from an app that helps me locate my earbuds showing that my headphones were used yesterday 6/22/24at 4pm at the hospital EXACTLY where a checkout point is. I was at home sick, and resting!I feel taken advantage of and as a single mother, I can not afford another pair at the moment.
