    Emerald ***** is a terrible company they took my money but never fixed the problem. When I called back the owner was rude and condescending.. They did return and wanted more funds to fix what they never did the first time. I sent them on their way and hired a reputable company who found a break in the wire in the conduit. I feel like I threw 550 dollars into the wind. I would never recommend this company and good luck trying to talk to ******* the owner . Thumbs Down

    We were disappointed to read that our service and repair recommendations were not up to the customers satisfaction for this project. From our perspective, we received a non-emergency call after business hours. We dispatched ************** the following day. The initial complaint was that the pool light and exterior kitchen lights were not working. After conducting an inspection for the areas needing repair, ************** advised the customer that the ********************** for the kitchen and pool were run on the same circuit which was overloading the circuit. The technician also pointed out there was a broken pipe that needed to be repaired.

    The customer declined the technicians recommendations for adding a circuit to separate the pool from the outdoor kitchen. She also declined the recommendation to repair the broken pipe.  The technician repaired the pool light and outdoor kitchen per the customer's approval which fell within their budget after suggesting further ************* to be addressed which would have been an increase to the original repair quote.

    The customer called back after 8:30 pm that evening and spoke with Padraic. This was not an emergency service-call, and he advised her that someone would come back to take another look. The technician was dispatched immediately the following day. Upon inspection the second time, he further diagnosed the problem,which was previously declined, at no charge. The technician suggested that the pool light needed to be isolated from the outdoor kitchen by pulling new wire for two new circuits. The technician gave a price to make the repair in which the customer stated she would call us back when she returned to town.

    We attempted to follow-up with the customer who would not take our calls or return messages. We finally received a text response indicating that she hired another company who completed the same repairs we recommended but were declined.

    It is common for a customer to have a price in their mind for repairs only to discover the cost of completing the repairs properly is higher than they estimated. Our technicians are highly trained at trouble shooting electrical issues and provide excellent customer service. It is unfortunate that we were not able to satisfy this particular customer.
