In August 2021 we called Air Pros out to do an AC check and agreed to have the **** system replaced and all duct work done as well as pay for a 10 year warranty for parts, labor and maintenance. Since that time we have had our ac system checked every six months with no concerns up until our latest check. When ******** our ac tech showed up for our Airpros appointment on Monday, October 28th he informed us that he was with Jack ****** but that **** ****** had partnered with Air pros for the west coast coverage in *******. I called the airpros number to verify and wanted to ensure that my warranty would still be valid if I had Jack ****** instead of air pros. They said it would be. ******* found a leak in our **** system due to freon levels and recommended a leak search and then a repair when leak was found. He told me the cost would be ****** and that he would need half down to schedule the search. I disagreed and said that the warranty would cover and he called his manager at **** ****** ******** who said he couldn't honor the warranty but would give me 10% off in good faith. I agreed to put half down and put a call in to Airpros to get the cost refunded and the warranty paperwork sent over to Jack ******. Airpros (******) called me on Tuesday, October 29th and said I should not have to pay anything out of pocket due to the warranty I had paid for 10 years, parts, labor and warranty. When **** ****** came out to do the leak search on Wednesday, October 30 they found a leak in the condenser coil. The tech said the repair would be 2500. I disagreed and said that no it should be covered under warranty. He said he would give me 10% off. I disagreed, he called his manager ******** who agreed that my warranty would cover the repair. The tech finished up with the leak search and came back to schedule the repair. He insisted I still pay for the remaining leak search amount. I want the leak search refunded because it falls under the scope of my warranty.
