My friend and I had a two night stay at the Immokalee casino on June 1st and 2nd. I used the *** machine on each of these days to withdraw $500. On the second night I gave 3 $100 bills (that had just come out of ***) to my friend. One of the $100 bills would not go through on slot machine. She took it to the cashier who then confiscated it as being counterfeit. The following morning, we went to security and were handed a piece of paper (something to use for taxes???) and told "to bad" for you because you can't prove that the bill came from the *** machine in their casino. They made the stance that they weren't even going to check out my story, period. No investigation, no apology, no nothing, just go away and be quiet. As a CPA and internal auditor for 30 years I'm ashamed at the internal controls/audit department for their lack of doing their job. I want the public to be aware that using the onsite *** machines are risky.
