Started great, Ended Badly! We hired Ashton to remodel our home. He did a good job until it came to fixing things on the punch list. The 65 inch fan was put up and it didn't work. They left knowing that it wasn't working. Since Ashton never showed up to fix it, I had to hire another electrician, in September ( $ 100 dollars later) Same thing with the toilet. Also check the baseboards and make sure they are cut at a 45 degree angle at the corners. ( I missed that) There were a few more things on the punch list. Painting , installing shelves and a light. He took the month of July off, but promised he would come back and finish the job. He text on Aug 18, 2024 and said he would send over someone to finish the job sometime that week. He never showed up, and I haven't heard from him since. It's been 2 1/2 months since he was here last. We paid tens of thousands+ dollars for the remodel. I made the mistake of paying him before the punch list was done. This review could have been much different if he finished what he started. I still have not received a receipt for payment. If you hire Ashton please get a detailed list of the scope of work, DO NOT PAY IN FULL UNTIL THE PUNCH LIST IS COMPLETE and please get a receipt before you give the last payment! Good Luck!

i have been doing this for over a 20+ years and Superior Surfaces always strives to provide quality service and workmanship to all homeowners. This particular job started of decent with everyone on the same page..However, she went out of town for work purposes and that began the nightmare. One particular neighbor would not stop going into her home after we left and constantly messed up our work. When we called the homeowner she said that she would take care of it.. For the entire time we were there, the neighbor would disrupt our work. My painter had to stop working and call me because he could not do his job due to this neighbor walking thru the house drunk stumbling and putting his hands on the walls. The job was done to complete satisfaction all the base boards and door trim work was old school farmhouse square style and not your typical base curve style baseboard which does not need to be cut on a 45 degree angle. The closets were completely done to her satisfaction and even lowered one shelf in the master closet cause she said it was to high.. The ceiling fan in question was bought from **** online by the homeowner, we happily put it up for homeowner and work properly when installed.. We did explain that we were not responsible for the fan and if anything happened to it she would have to get it fixed. Lastly we did a full walk thru with the homeowner for her to inspect the entire house and what was done, including the toilets that work properly. At that time of inspection, she was happy and completely satisfied of all the work that had been done. At the time of completion there was nothing that left on what is referred to as PUNCH LIST. We have in fact sent a receipt but will happy send another one.
