            As of February 8, 2023:

            The owner of a cosmetic studio in Jupiter and one of her employees face multiple charges after accusations of performing illegal cosmetic procedures.

            Police in Jupiter said they conducted a joint operation with the Florida Department of Health at Aqua Laser Studio, located at 775 West Indiantown Road, on Tuesday. 

            Police arrested owner Donna Shuman, 54, who faces multiple charges of practicing medicine without an active license.

            Police said charges are pending against a third person.

            Very unprofessional management and business practices. I purchased a package of (6) laser hair treatments and completed half of them. Then, they suddenly changed their hours of operation to now exclude weekends and have only one day a week open past 5pm which doesnt have availability for 2 months (because obviously this has affected many of their customers). I live in Vero and work in PSL from 9am-6pm Monday thru Friday and therefore am physically unable to make any treatments based on their new business hours. When I requested a refund, the manager *** failed to respond to any of my messages and the front desk staff said they didnt know when he would be in. When I finally received a return email after threatening to post on social media about their lack of customer service, he stated that ********************** hair packages are non-refundable and refused to give weight to the fact that their unannounced change in business hours made it impossible for me to receive the treatments that I PAID FOR. Complete lack of customer service, professionalism and fair practices. It should be noted that their previous hours are still what is posted on ****** and other sites.

            Hi, I worked for ***** ****** at Aqua Laser Studio about a year ago and she threatened to cut my training pay, dehumanized me, talked down to me, and called me names all while I was “training” with her and my other coworkers. There were multiple rumors about *****, ******, and ******* all popping pills and drinking on the job all while working on clients after locking themselves in the break room drinking the bottle of tito’s in the bottom cabinet.
