I hired this company to clear a lower hill part of my land leading down to a lake. I expressed to him that I had previously hired someone that ultimately was unable to clear it properly and I did not want to hire anyone who wasn't positive they could complete the job. He assured me he could do the job no problem. On the day he came to do the job about half way through he notified me he could not do all of it and would take $500 off his initial estimate and knew someone who could finish those parts. ( I did hire who he recommended to do that part for $500) Unfortunately this is a very steep hill that I cannot walk down safely so I was unable to inspect the job but he assured me it was done correctly. I went ahead and paid in full being he had come highly recommended from a friend and had edited his contract that he would be back to burn the debris the following week. At that point I believed the land was ready for the fencing which was the reason we were having it done. I had my fencing contractor come out and he couldn't even walk the property line correctly to give me my bid due to the extreme ruts and the fact that one of the property lines was not cleared by 15 feet needed. After some talking back and forth ***** came back while I was not home and did some additional clearing and supposedly fixed the ruts. Assured us again he would be back to burn being it started raining. I had the fencing guy come back and ruts were just as bad. After many months he still never came back to fix the ruts which are so bad my fencing company refuses to attempt to do the job. He also never came back and burned. Now the entire area he cleared has grown back up almost as high and bad as before he was contracted to do the job. It has been 4 1/2 months and many conversations of him either promising he was coming back or making excuses about equipment problems while continuing to do new jobs for other people. I gave him yet another deadline indicated by our chat conversation Of July 26th 2023. He again said he was coming and I haven't heard from him since.
