HI, I was not able to file this complaint earlier was because i had no idea it can be done until someone advised me to do so and never have been scammed by a company this way. it all happened during Covid 11/21/2021, we had a representative come to our house and give us a quote: her name was Susan and then we decide on getting kitchen done, went to their location signed contract and gave them 50% of the cost $12,000.00.then we called many times and they said no cabinets yet due to the product not having enough and Covid there's a shortage..,, which was a lie then we keep calling no one ever called us back they came again to do final measurement's but nothing. Then on February 202, they decided to bring cabinets to tear down and out the new ones only brought 3 of them and wanted the remaining amount due of $12+ more. we told the man to take them did not want them until they had all of the cabinets and we can proceed. till this day of 01/2023, no one has called or made arrangements to give our money back or get our kitchen done. please investigate and take them to court someone. horrible corporation scammers...don't trust any company. I will accept a resolution of an agreement of pa refund. Someone od a civil lawsuit please.

On April 12, 2022, I purchased custom cabinetry in the amount of $11,200. I was given install dates of May 12 & 13, 2022. Upon their arrival, they did not have all the materials to complete the job. We were told they would come back the following week. Since then, over the last 3 MONTHS, they have been on our property more than a dozen times. Each time only completing a small amount due to not having the correct materials and/or supplies. They did not order the correct products at the time I placed the order, in April. Items were being ordered at the time they were in my home and realized they didn't have the merchandise needed. Custom laundry baskets and the materials to install them were not ordered. Tie racks were not ordered. They ordered 3 different types of handles, and ALL were incorrect. On Thursday, August 11, 2022, they were finally coming out to install the handles, however, they came with wrong sized handles! They took all the drawers and doors out of my home and said they will have to take them back to their warehouse to correct. On Friday, August 12, 2022, someone called me at 4:30pm and told me they would be coming out on Wednesday, August 17, 2022, to install the corrected doors & drawers. On Wednesday, August 17, 2022, NO ONE showed up and NO ONE called me to let me know they were not coming. I tried to call, and no one answers the phones, and no one returns my calls. Throughout this whole nightmare, I have tried on NUMEROUS occasions to reach out to the office and/or owners. However, no one answers the phone, voicemails, emails, or text messagesI have no idea when I will get the drawers and doors to all the cabinets. Since it takes forever for someone from their company to call me and tell me false information EVERY time, I can only assume I will not be getting the finished products.

We signed a contract with Artis Cabinetry to provide new cabinets and countertops for our kitchen remodel last July. So far they have provided the cabinet boxes, which were installed when they said they would (Nov. 2021) The countertops were supposed to be measured the day after the cabinets were installed and then the countertop was supposed to have been installed two weeks after that. The countertop took until April 4th, 2022 to get installed. We have called and emailed repeatedly since April to get them to bring the cabinet doors, drawer faces, hardware, and crown molding to complete the job but have basically gotten no response. Ria answered the phone once and said "Ed" would be calling me. That never happened and over the last 4 weeks they do not answer the phone or return voicemails. We have paid them 90% of this job but have not gotten 90% of the job completed. If they gave us the materials to complete the job, we would wash our hands of them.

I hired Artis in August 2021 to do my dream kitchen. The sales person, Susan, was great. We gave her a deposit of $12,000. Susan has since disappeared. We had terrible communication, customer service, lack of professionalism and timeliness of work. In September, a worker showed up to demo our kitchen. He came back the next day with our "boxes" and wanted $9,000 more. I said "no". Later that day the manager, Ed C****, called me to say "So what's going on? Why wouldn't you pay my guy?" He was very disrespectful and kept calling me "Lady" like he had no idea who I was. We settled on a partial payment. It's funny, the amount they demanded from us was the exact amount they needed to fix their broken truck. The boxes showed up a couple of days later after they rented a ********** truck (my suggestion). We haven't received a single thing since. They were going to leave us without water for six weeks. We had to hire our own plumber to hook everything back up. We did our own countertops, backsplash, electrical, accessories and range hood. Every time we called, they had another excuse: supply chain backlog, everyone in our office has Covid, etc. Last we heard "Johnny" was going to look at his schedule and come by to see what remained to be completed then figure out our bill. That was in January. We never heard from "Johnny". They laid off their construction supervisor because they couldn't afford to pay him (his words). I figured they owe us about $10,000. I contacted an attorney who sent a demand letter which they ignored. I finally turned the case over to a contractor fraud Detective in Hillsborough county.

My wife ******* and I responded to an advertisement from Artis Kitchens in May 2021 and entered into an agreement to have Artis remodel our kitchen. Artis began the work in July 2021. After obliterating the existing kitchen structures, Artis started to the remodeling process. Artis not only failed to complete the remodeling but they failed to properly reconnect the electricity and plumbing, leaving the kitchen inoperative. We had to hire an electrician and plumber to properly connect the electric and plumbing at the cost of $600.They also left cabinets without doors and handles and generally did a sloppy installation of cabinets and counters. We called the company on ten different occasions to date our complaints have been ignored. The cabinetry promoted Artis distinguished the company from competitors by, among other things, the fact that Artis company designs and manufactures the cabinetry it sells and installs. As a result, to correct the incomplete work left undone, we will have to replace all the cabinets to maintain the aesthetics of uniformity.

On December22,2021 I signed a contract with Brain at Artis Cabinetry @ **** ******** ******** Pkwy. Suite ** ******** Fl. XXXXX , XXX-XXX-XXXX to install new cabinets, crown modeling and countertop. I gave him a 50% deposit as required. I was told it would take to 6 weeks to complete the installation. As of today 5-2 my kitchen still isn't complete. On Jan 6th an installer came out to install the cabinets, before he would even start he wanted the rest of the money. I called the owner and he said that was correct as per the contract I signed. So I paid him. it was a red flag. There were many errors in measurement which they correct Then I was told the cabinet doors and crown modeling had it be ordered from a company in Georgia. I was under the impression when I signed the contract everything was made in house. I was told it would be another 4 weeks. I have made repeated calls on told a few more weeks. I have made many request for the owner to call me and the receptionist keeping tell me she will give him the message, no call backs and he doesn't answer his cell or return text messages. On Friday April 30th I went out to his place of business to confront him. Told he was out of town. Asked to speak to Ed and was told he was also out of the office and the should be back on Monday May 2nd. I asked the receptionist if the door where even ordered and she couldn't tell me I called again and everyone is still out of the office. The reception said the had not come in yet. Here it is 3 PM and no calls. I am at my wits end. Please help me . I don't know where is to turn. I started this project in July 2021 and was screwed by another contractor and Brain promised me he would get the job done All I want is this job done. Any help would be appreciated. Regards, Donna ******.

We hired Artis Cabinetry in May of 2021 to remodel our kitchen. We paid them 50% up front via check ($13,613 on 5/28/21). They required the next 40% ($4,201) when they showed up to install the cabinets. They demolished our kitchen at the end of August then delayed installation of the new kitchen until October (for various reasons such as mildew in the drywall on our part, covid and supply chain issues on their part). They also did not tell us that most of the kitchen was on back order until AFTER they took the 40% and had installed a shell of the kitchen (no cabinet doors, hardware, spice rack, lazy susan, etc). They did not install the doors until January of 2022 after repeated requests, contacts, urging and pressure from me. They were contracted to do multiple things such as drywall work and hood install but we had to have other people do this instead because they would not. To this date, there are still several items missing (lazy susan, spice rack, double trash can pull out) as well as multiple repairs/mistakes that need to be fixed. We have called/emailed over and over and the owner and project managers (Brian and Ed) refuse to talk to us (they do not respond to emails, never call us back or take our calls). The receptionist is the only one that will answer me and when I express my concerns to her she just says she does not understand what we are missing and what repairs need to be made and that there is no excuse for the project manager to not communicate with me. At this point we owe them $1,979 which is due at completion but they obviously have no intent to complete the job. We are not the only victims. I have been in touch with at least five other people that have the exact same story and I am able to provide their contact information if needed.

We first contracted with Artis on May 28, 2021 and paid them $16,382 for them to start work on our kitchen, and upgraded to nicer cabinets for $4,352. Then on July 26, they came to do the demo and we paid them another $16,587. They did some install of boxes but thats it. Since then, we paid 2 more downpayments for bathrooms, laundry, pantry for $3,350 and $3,286, for which to this day they've done no work. In total, we paid Artis $43,957 and have only a fraction of a kitchen to show for it. We have asked for our money back and we keep getting excuses. We have not had a working kitchen since July of 2021. They repeatedly lied to us about our cabinet doors being ordered (they never, in fact, placed the door order at all). They took more money from us, ensuring they'd get the new spaces done quickly since these would be different cabinets from a different source and not be delayed. But still nothing. They lied to us, took our money, and did shoddy work for what small parts they did actually do (that we now have to pay to fix). We need our money back so we can complete our renovation. They owe us the money for breach of contract, unethical business practices, and in some cases, fraud. Please see my supporting documents for more detail. It includes our dispute with Chase to get our money back (it has lots of details you can use), and 2 contracts we signed with Artis. Thank you for any help you can offer in getting this resolved.
