I have spoken to ***************** on the phone and we are going back out on Feb 2nd to inspect the top and fill the chip. We have a document that all customers sign at the end of the install stating that they have inspected the tops and they are in good condition. The reason for this and the reason for the initial trip charge was because chisp, cracks, etc can happen after we leave the job site, other trades go in and install plumbing, tile backsplash etc on jobs and we have had issues in the past with other trades or customers causing damage to the tops and then placing the blame on us so our installer take photos of all jobs and the customer signs saying they inspected the tops. In this case we were not aware that ***************** was not the one that signed the document, nor were there any notes of any work that needs to be done. We have a comment section on the bottom the document for the customer to put any comments of any issues or complaints and there are no notes, again I am sure this is because ******************* neighbor signed the paperwork but as I stated previously this is not info that office staff had. We also were unaware of any issues withe the sink cutout until I spoke with ***************** after his compliant, I am having my service tech look at that as well. There was miscommunication between the 2 parties that caused this complaint to occur. The installer should have informed us that the customer was not onsite and that Mr ********* neighbor let him in, if we would have known that we would have sent out the tech in the beginning, we understand that the neighbor is not going to look over the tops as well as the home owner. This issue will be resolved when we go back out on Feb 2nd.
