If you want to be taken advantage of when buying a motorcycle, then having it converted to a trike, then, by all means, go to Honda of Melbourne. If not, then RUN AWAY. . .FAST! Though we were told it would, "Take 8 weeks to convert your bike to a trike", it took 17 weeks and 4 days. They blamed it on California Side Car. Then, nearly 6 months later, we found out that they KEPT THE PARTS from the bike! Every bike I have owned over the years, had to have parts replaced. Whenever that happened, I got the old parts back, or they offered to dispose of the bad parts. PROBLEM: These were NEW PARTS with ZERO Miles on them. Where were those parts? Why stored in their warehouse of course! In other words, I have to now ask, "Are they are running a LEGAL CHOP SHOP?!?!?!" Now weather or not this is STANDARD OPERATING PRACTICE for Motor Cycle Dealerships or not, it is, for lack of a better term, BULLSH*T. The only "light at the end of the tunnel" is the people that are NOT management. Sales and ******************* are GREAT. Why didn't they offer us the parts upon the pick up of the trike? If they knew that "MOST PEOPLE" don't want their extra parts, then why didn't they offer to compensate us for them? Why, when the mechanic was removing the parts to prepare the bike for the conversion kit, did he CUT THE SPRING OVER THE SHOCK? "Willful destruction of private property".

We apologize for the experience you have described with the delay in conversion, as well as the return of unused parts, but respectfully must disagree that our business is running a "Legal Chop Shop." General Manager, ************ indicated when asked about your complaint that of the 100+ trikes that have been converted, no one has asked for the parts that were taken off their bikes or we would have stored them and gladly returned them to any customer that had requested them, including yourself.
