Our experience with Essig Pools has left a lot to be desired. Several concerning aspects in dealing with Essig Pools are ******************* Scheduling, Attentiveness, and Quality/Delivery. As a customer, I did not feel like a priority or appreciated by Essig. Despite this project being the single most significant investment in our single-family home, ****************** was barely engaged, did not review the subcontractors quality of work, and most importantly, took a casual approach to our concerns. Scheduling was and continues to be a significant issue as no work/progress will be made for several weeks at a time. Though Essig Pools will call you every Friday with next weeks schedule, there is zero consistency in the projects development. Attentiveness is also not a strong suit of Essig Pools. The subcontractors are unaware of or consider our propertys unique logistics (septic tank and drain field location) as the company does not inform them. Also, despite having significant space beyond the pool deck, materials were constantly delivered and left on my front lawn, quickly at the reach of any bystanders. Despite mentioning this nuisance to our PM several times, no rectification occurred. When I would engage the main office for support with my project, I was reminded several times that Essig Pools has/had over 200 pools on contract, which was used as the basis for delays and general lack of progress. Concerning Quality/Delivery, no Essig Pools representation has reviewed the quality of work performed on our project. It is my opinion that Essig Pools has severely overextended itself well beyond its capabilities. Quality, ***************** and Reputation have all been compromised at the expense of their customers. It has been 332 days since my family and I wired our initial deposit to Essig Pools. We are yet to complete our project and have no foreseeable completion date. I do not personally or professionally recommend Essig Pools.
