Was recommended this shop from another shop. What a mistake!! I brought in my vehicle which was running fine and only ******* miles to get a knock sensor fixed and they completely destroyed my engine!! Was verified by a Toyota mechanic. Went to get it towed and tow driver said it happens all the time at that shop. They were very nasty and defensive and claimed it was not their fault. Multiple **************** Mechanics said it was definitely their fault!!!!!!

As the reviewer had mentioned, the customer brought us their own parts (knock sensors) to install, stating that he took it to another shop who seemed weary of working on this vehicle because they were afraid something would go wrong during the repair, as it is 22 years old (2002 ******** We accepted the job, replaced the knock sensors that the customer provided, and he picked up his vehicle. A day or 2 later, the customer calls back stating that the engine is making some noise that wasn't there before, so we told him to bring it over so we can check it out. We started the vehicle and right away we determined that the noise was an engine that has gone bad. We have no idea whether this happened because the engine was already tired and ready to go, whether the customer is hard on his vehicle or doesn't change the oil on time. This 22 year old engine given up, has absolutely nothing to do with replacing the knock sensors. It can NOT happen, even if we want it to happen. One of the simplest jobs that we take at this shop, is replacing a knock sensor. This engine's life was ending on that day, whether anyone worked on this vehicle or not. It just happened to be after he had us do this job, so the customer believed that it is related to the job. There is no certified ****** mechanic who can tell, let alone verify, what caused the engine to die, unless if they open the engine and diagnose, which is a costly job. With that being said, we ask the customer to provide us the written report from the ****** dealership stating that replacing the knock sensor "destroyed" the engine. I am sorry that you feel this way, and I mean it, but with time you will realize that this was just a coincidence.

I bought the car in 2010 with ****** miles on it. The car had ******* miles on it and was hardly used I am retired. So stop with a 22 yr engine. There was nothing wrong with the engine and you know it!!! You know it was your mechanic that destroyed it!!! It was not a coincidence. So stop with the LIES!!!
