Veterans beware. I chose to remodel my home to meet some of my disabilities. They suggested a contractor who underbid his contractor who underbid his contract and then tried to overcharge me for each nail and a bunch of code violations. The bank blames me for faulty installation by the contractor. Meanwhile, it has been almost two years and the bank won’t release money to finish the job with the new contractor. Oh, the old one quit and the bank wants to give him my money for work not done or had to be fixed. See notes of the contractor competency review board for Tekton Building Group.

This is an unfortunate situation. All steps in your renovation project have been well documented and while we are terribly sorry you are disgruntled; you chose the contractor and made significant changes that were not authorized per the agreement. Sadly, slandering our company on Social Media as well as the BBB does not change the facts.
