We hired them in August 2024 for an out-of-state move and had a TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE! Issue #1: The manager significantly underestimated our job and we were sold on "x" price for the entire job. Then the day of the move arrives- we quickly learned what we were told would be a 3-hour pack-up would be more like 8 hours on day 1 and 5 hours on day 2 AND not all of our items fit in the truck. We were told our only option was to leave items behind or we could pay for a smaller uhaul but they couldn't pay for it. I was adamant it was their responsibility but basically had our hands tied because we wanted to bring the remaining items and decided to pay for the extra uhaul. Even with the extra trailer, we still had items remaining! I had to review each item with the movers if it was a "stay" or "go". And unfortunately, we left quite a few items! Issue #2: Because the box truck so was ridiculously overpacked and items were shoved on top of each other, we had SO MANY damaged items! Issue #3: The process to record the damages and get a refund was a nightmare even with the $1,000 full coverage insurance. The amount of calls and emails we had to make to get ahold of someone in the following weeks was ridiculous. I finally called one day and selected every option I could to get ahold of someone we had worked with and finally did. They acted very flippantly about our refund but eventually after 2 months of waiting we received only a $1,000 refund that wasn't even worth our time or stress. And also barely covered the total of damages that we had. Keep in mind they have a policy where you have to pay your final payment prior to the truck being unloaded in your new location. Which was learned was a joke because they aren't really held accountable for any of the damages made during unloading. My advice: DON'T PAY UNTIL ALL YOUR ITEMS ARE UNLOADED. If you have damages, make sure to get pictures and have receipts for all items. Find another company to work with!

These movers were recommended by an acquaintance but we will never use them again and will not recommend them to anyone. My husband called to get a quote as we are selling our house and were originally scheduled to close and move on April 15. He spoke with *****. We were asked to pay them a deposit of $500 to reserve the moving date of 4/15, which we did. As it turned out, the closing and move was delayed to an unknown date in the future so my husband called ***** a few days later and informed him of the delay. We asked for the deposit back at that time and ***** said he would hold on to it so when we had a definite moving date, we were ready to go. At the time, we agreed to do that. On April 15, my husband got a call from Two Men and A Truck to inform him that one of their trucks has broken down but they would still be there to complete the move. My husband told the caller that he had informed ********************* earlier that we were NOT moving on 4/15. We were totally confused and disappointed by the phone call because they were told weeks earlier of the change of schedule. AND, besides they were supposed to be packing up the truck on 4/14, the day before. My husband then called ***** to ask that the deposit be returned to us as we were not sure when/if we were moving. ***** then informed my husband that they would keep $100 of our deposit as we "did not cancel prior to 72 hours of the scheduled moving date". WHAT? My husband informed ********************* earlier that we were cancelling for 4/15! I guess these guys do not communicate with each other in the office! We would like the additional $100 deposit returned to us. These guys need to get their act together and admit their error.Review from Vee C

This move took one and a half days instead of one day as was scheduled. The following highlights some of our most significant problems. • On Day 1, the crew did not finish packing the truck until approximately 4:00 PM. • The condo service dock closed at 5:00 pm; we were able to get an extension to 6:30 • The crew was unaccounted for between 4:00 and 5:30, • The crew arrived at 5:30 and unloaded the bed so we had somewhere to sleep. The only compensation was to waive the overnight fee. • We did not get a final walk-through at the move-out condo. Later that evening, we inspected the condo and found over 30 of our household items left in drawers and on counters. • On day 2, the crew had promised to be at the move-in condo by 8:00 am; they did not arrive until after 9:00 a.m. • Hardware for the computer desk and screws for a TV had been left in a bag on the truck the night before. Someone had to retrieve the bag and returned to assemble the two items. • The local manager stopped responding to my phone calls. • I emailed the Sales and Marketing Director, saying that I would not CONSENT to the charge on our credit card until I had spoken to corporate management about the problems we encountered. They charged my credit card without my approval. • I finally saw the work order after much persistence. The times of starting and ending were incorrect. • The Sales manager tried to explain that discounts were provided for the mishap. They were justifying the discounts, but overall, the total estimated charge for the move remained relatively high. No exact numbers for boxes and supplies were verified. We were charged $507 for boxes/supplies without knowing how many boxes were used. I did not think I needed to count the boxes as they entered the condo. • They have tried to settle this problem by reimbursing us a mere $400 out of a $3345.00 charge. This pales in what we feel would have been appropriate compensation for the agony, disruption, and stress caused.

Each franchise is independently owned and operated, I believe you have reached the wrong location. It looks like your move franchise is located in FL, you have reached the Cincinnati OH location. Please feel for to reach out to the Two Men And A Truck customer support center and they will be able to help you get connected with your local franchise.Review from Deborah M

I had signed a contract to move furniture with an estimate of $674.55, with a deposit of $250. On the day of pickup, I was told I had to pay 70% of the estimate which they said was another $296.00. They would only take cash, and I made the payment. After they loaded my furniture on the truck, I was told to look at a balance that had just been emailed to me for $2900, again cash only. When I questioned the amount, I was told they would hold onto my furniture until that amount was paid. I said to turn the truck around and bring the furniture back. They would only do that if I paid, in cash, another $1970.00. So I have paid out more than $2500, and my furniture is back where it was at the start of this nightmare.Review from Eric S

Crooks. They destroyed $5,000 worth of items and even though I bought the additional insurance, offered $1,500 in return for the damaged items. I will go out of my way to dissuade people from using this company. This shady company deserves to go out of business. Do not use any of their services. You've been warned.Review from Daniel G

Most dishonest people ever. They destroyed an antique cabinet, there was glass everywhere, their crew helped dispose of it and never told me I had to retain it, even in its destroyed condition, to get a refund. Their Corporate office offered $400 on a piece worth well over $2,500. I contacted John N. and Randy S., the CEO and President, and those useless cowards couldn't even reply but just passed it down the line where I got a pathetic, uninformed response. You should read this company's core values, They are easy to write, but this firm doesn't come close to honoring. Be it the Doral franchisee or the Corporate folks they are all cut from the same dishonest cloth. Thankfully I can file a complaint through here on the BBB, go to Small Claims Court both in F and MI and share with everyone on social media how horrible these people are. Never ever use them...they are awful and no better than common thieves. One star is one too many!
