      I used The Fab Law Firm to file my divorce and was quoted a price of ***** with a max price of ***** if we needed mediation. I paid the ***** upfront just in case. The case ended up not needing mediation because the ex-wife and I were able to reach an agreement on our own, which we sent to our lawyers to draft. In total I spoke with my point of contact less than 10 times on the phone and less than 20 times via email. I was charged over ***** dollars for the work because they charged me for every email they sent to me and or the other law firm, and at times sending multiple emails (conversations) and charging for each response. I am not sure of many of the items I was charged for because it was just shown as hours they logged for work done on my behalf. I really don't understand all of the work that was done because the ex and I wrote our own agreement and just needed it drafted into legal form and submitted. The lawyers in my case didn't negotiate or write any agreement on my behalf, they simply took the agreement the ex and I made and put it into form for the courts, submitted it, and we were done, but somehow my charges still reached over ***** when I was quoted ***** if we didn't need mediation. In addition I was giving access to a portal to communicate with them called CLIO, however they were very unresponsive and hard to contact there. My case closed July 16, 2024 and I am now waiting for a review before the remaining funds are returned to me. I was told that Felicia has 30 days to review the file before returning the retainer. However I spoke with them today (Sep 19, 2024) over 2 months after my case has closed and was told that she has now been tasked with doing the review but she hasn't got to it and doesn't have a date on when she can because she is busy. I am a entrepreneur myself and run multiple companies, which is why I feel that this is a completely unacceptable way to deal with a client.

      The amount of sadness I have in myself and for having put trust in this company will haunt me. I put my family and my finances in a situation I thought would help me and Fab Law Firm took advantage. They do not care for their clients. They choose not to do what is morally or ethically right, despite their we are ethical claims. I hired owner Felicia who smooth talked her way into saying my case was going to be super easy and she was really experienced in military cases and said that another lawyer, Fanesh, would be helping with the case. I never heard from Bunbury again. Then unreported to me, that lawyer left, and weeks went by before I was notified by the new lawyer assigned. Why would you not tell this to the paying client? He made us aware that we were going to be charged for the phone call, which was us bringing him up to speed with the case. Wait, what? How does charging me for the actions of someone who left the firm fall on me? That phone call was unnecessary.We were charged countless times for every small 2 sec message back and forth in the portal and most of it was me repeating myself over and over. I was told I am still in the beginning stages of my case yet the full retainer was gone, and I had ONLY TWO phone calls in total with Fanesh in 3 months. No one will call you back when you say you want to talk about billing or leaving as a client. Even if you schedule and get a confirmation of an appointment they are very late or dont even bother to call or acknowledge that they missed the scheduled time for a call or conference. I basically gave away 5k and will walk away now in debt for an unfinished job. I notified FAB of canceling, they told me my court date was canceled, turns out it wasn't & they had the session without me. Don't give these people your business, DO NOT finance, and DOCUMENT EVERYTHING. Felicia don't bother asking me to take this review down too. I do not recommend this firm to anyone.

      WORST LAW FIRM EVER! THEY WILL DROP YOU IF YOU DON’T PAY THE RETAINER WITHOUT EXPLANATION! ASK FOR DOCUMENTS OVER AGAIN, WON’T CALL YOU BACK, AND WATCH YOUR BILL, THEY'LL CHARGE YOU FOR THINGS THAT DIDN’T HAPPEN. I started my non contested divorce process in Jan 2022 which was finalized 7/2023. This firm has HORRIBLE TURNOVER. I started with paralegal Kathyria, sent all of my paperwork, didn’t hear back from anyone. Then to find out I got a new paralegal. I was asked to submit all of the paperwork AGAIN! Since she “didn’t have them.” Two 2 months later, I get another new paralegal, Adria, who once again asked me for the same paperwork ALL OVER AGAIN! Adria, was tolerable and unfortunately got the brunt of my frustration, but at least she got it all done. ABOVE ALL, you better have that retainer and make sure you check that bill. They will charge you for things they didn’t do and things that are their fault. I spoke to Barbara (who is no longer there) while I was on vacation and said all we need is $500 to finish this…sent the money, about two weeks later I get a bill for $1200. I asked multiple times to speak with someone from billing. NO ONE GOT BACK TO ME. Att. Bunbury threatened to withdraw, I asked again to speak to someone. Then without warning, just put in the paperwork to withdraw. Att. Block, salvaged what he could of the relationship with the firm. Now my case is closed and guess what I am fighting for…MY FINAL BILL , where I was double charged and charged for things they said they weren't going to! Their new billing person/operations manager fits right in…MS. CY ****** DOES NOT CALL BACK WHEN SHE SAYS SHES GOING TO. When this lack of communication was discussed, she was short and took ZERO ACCOUNTABILITY. DIDN’T EVEN APOLOGIZE FOR THE LACK OF PROFESSIONALISM. I would say you get what you pay for, but let me tell you…I paid A LOT, and the quality of work is ****! HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE, HORRIBLE MANAGEMENT OF CASES, STAY AWAY!!!!!!!!
