This dealership obviously makes it a practice to take advantage of people by misleading them. I bought a used vehicle with a clean car fax that has hail damage on the roof. I am really short and could not see on the roof. I asked if it came with a full spare tire or a donut and was told it comes with a donut. It came with nothing, not even a tire repair kit. I also asked for weather tech mats to be included in the deal because I was giving them a vehicle with weather tech mats and was told it would be included. I must have specified 10 times they have to be weather tech. The additional sheet for this says weather floor mats. So now they are telling me they will not give me weather tech because that is not what the page says. It also came with only one key which was not disclosed to me until after I purchased. I have spoken with the sales person ****** and he says that he thought there was only one type of weather floor mats and did not know weather tech was a different kind. I guess these sales people are either not trained properly or they are trained in misleading sales tactics. He also told me after the fact that some of my model vehicle comes with a spare tire and some come with a tire repair kit. Of course I have spoken to management and they pretty much say I bought it as is. I was mislead through this whole ordeal. I recommend no one ever buy a vehicle from this dealership. No one will make any of this right. I have been given a key fob and am promised the key that goes in it at their cost of 200, but that is it. An actual spare for this vehicle cost over 600 dollars. I am being offered used crappy weather floor mats, not even brand new as the vehicle was leased and driven. If I could give them a 0 I would. They obviously do not realize a verbal contract is binding. I was told there was a spare and I was told I would receive weather tech mats.Review from Elyssa D

I’m a disabled veteran and they took me for a ride. The car was supposed to be 32,000. When I got my bill in the mail, my bill was 42,000! So disrespectful and dishonest! They need consequences for their actions. I don’t want ANYTHING to do with this company.Review from Shirley R

I went to this dealership and even from the start I was getting a hard time to get the car , I got the car not even 19 days ago , it rained very badly and the four doors of my car had water inside them and you can hear the noise of the water when I drove the car plus that wasn’t the first time, I contact the store employee I send him the videos of the car he told me they would contact me on Monday and they never did , I went to the dealership to tell them the problem and there were no used car manager that can help me , plus I just found out I’m paying 45 thousand dollars for a used 2020 Corolla Toyota , That already came damageReview from Elizabeth F

Worst car dealership. Car reeked of Cigarette smoke, had a hole in the seat, refused to give a second key, took 5 months to issue a check for overpayment for title and registration as well as telling me I needed to go through my insurance to replace the crack in the windshield that was already there. They denied responsibility for the windshield.Review from Samy G

October 23, 2022, was my first visit to Seminole Toyota, which was to buy a car for my son. We received a very warm welcome from Mr. ****, the most polite salesman I have met in any auto dealership. Mr. **** and his manager helped us through the sale process and made it a pleasant experience.
However, don't be fooled by this fake hospitality. The vehicles displayed on the lot were dirty and dusty to hide many surprises.
At the time of receiving the car keys and ready to leave, the car was washed from the outside to discover many minor and major imperfections, such as but not limited to, the passenger side of the rear bumper was collided, dinged, dented, and popped out during cleaning the car; the windshield was found sand-pitted; the interior was not cleaned from coffee/soda splatter and was not vacuumed leaving some leftover food/snacks from the previous owner.
We had to see the sales manager, who was argumentative and he impolitely refused to take any action to satisfy his young customer. His excuse was that we bought an AS-IS preowned car, even after the car was damaged by their own workers.
We were misled.Review from Shay T

I would give them zero stars... BEWARE, If you are getting service done here!!! They are a huge rip off. On 2 different occasions we took our 2015 toyota tundra in to have repairs. 1st time for brakes squealing and 2nd for humming noise coming from tires. We left with same brake squealing noise, paid for a part they broke and blamed us for, spent money for repairs and no resolution. 2nd time we paid for diagnostic of problem, were told it was bearings in front tires, paid roughly $1800 for job, we pick up truck and same noise. Bring it right back and they diagnose it to now be the rears.... want us to pay another $2200... WTH! Again left paying for our issues to not be fixed... WILL NEVER EVER GO BACK!!!!Review from Darius W

Charged me $70 for a diagnostic fee, told me I needed to replace a part that was broken ($1,000 repair). Come to find out the part was only disconnected. They refuse to refund diagnostic fee even though they tried to stiff me out of 1k...even if it was an error, you still didn't do what you was paid to do.Review from Elizabeth M

My husband & I purchased a 2021 Toyota from Seminole Toyota in Sanford, FL three weeks ago. After we got home, we started reviewing the paperwork we signed. There was something about a company called Zaktek that we weren't familiar with. The finance officer Jonathan ****** had never explained what Zaktek was, let alone if we wanted to pay the $600.00 fee for the ceramic clear coat on our vehicle. It was our mistake for not reading the form my husband signed (we relied too much on what ****** told us we were signing). However, we should have been given the option to decline Zaktek. The signature line in the deactivation section on the form was typed in as N/A. Zaktek requires a recoat every six months & they send reminders by email. The email address ****** typed in was noemail@yahoo .com. We were never once asked for an email address.
The Zaktek coating was also not applied to our vehicle before we left the dealership.
I texted ****** the next day with our concern about Zaktek & never received a response.
That Saturday, I spoke with Rolando, a manager, in person. He wrote down my concerns & contact information, promising to make a copy of his notes to lay on both ******'s desk & his overseeing financial manager Jordan's (Jordyn?) desk. We never received a response. I tried again the next week, left a message for ****** & another for his manager Jordon, again, no response.
We live two hours from Sanford & I had a planned visit that Saturday to the dealership. I texted one of our sales reps that the Zaktek coating had not been applied. She said they'd take care of it the day I arrived. My husband & I wound up contacting her again to cancel the application for fear of it being applied wrong. It also wasn't worth the two hour drive twice a year for reapplication. $600.00 down the drain.
We want to know why we weren't allowed to decline the ceramic coating, why a phony email address was added, & if we can get that $600 back since it was never applied.Review from Teisha D

I purchased a 2017 Nissan Versa on January 11th, 2022. Please be aware of Seminole Toyota Whenever I come to stop sign or a red light and everytime I go to press on the gas again it feels like the vehicle wants to shut off. so I made an appt for Feb 25th 2022 which then I bought my car in for the services which I payed $487 for the belts and the pulley but my car continued to do the same thing The next day of February 26th, 2022. So I called JC several time and left messages to let him know that my car was having the same problem but I did not get in contact with JC until March 2, 2022 and his remarks was that his phone was not working that why he didn't contact me back. Then I bought it back on March 10 for services again. I got it back on March 11, 2022 still doing the same thing. So I bought it back on March 14, 2022. One of the service managers got the master Tech to look into it. When the master Tech looked into it it was my ECM so when they brought it to Nissan come to find out my transmission was gone I didn't receive my car back until the 30th of March when I got my car back it is still doing the same thing as of today. Since then I have not been treated with Respect, Faithful, and As a Value Customer.
