I own a few of their products and always had good service. it now seems they don’t value their customers much. I sent in a rebate and kept calling them 2 times and was told they would get back to me but about it and call 3 I’m told everything was okay except there was no date on my online receipt and to bad. After 3 calls no letters emails or letter telling me it was needed I’m told to badTaurus USA Response

BBB, thank you for the opportunity to respond ******* complaint. If a claim is denied, the customer not only receives a email stating why but they can also check the status of the claim online at www.tauruspromos.com. The information of why the claim was denied would have been displayed there along with what was needed and where to send it.Review from Travis Z

Taurus USA had a class action lawsuit on a certain model of firearm and they are replacing my old one with a new model. I was told from the start that it was a 2-4 week process once my old firearm arrived at the manufacturer to be destroyed . My return arrived at Taurus on ****-24 and as of today ****-24 I am now being told that it will be another 6-8 weeks before my replacement is processed and shipped. Had I known what a joke this company is and their process I would have never agreed to this replacement. To top it off, they will not let you speak to any manager to get this resolved, it’s always the same response from their customer service. If you are looking to buy a product from Taurus USA I would strongly advise you to shop elsewhere, if there is a problem they DO NOT CARE ABOUT THE CUSTOMER and resolving issues. I would give them negative stars if possible.Taurus USA Response

Terrible "customer service". I had purchased a new *** pistol (***). There was a coupon for a ******** laser in the box. I ordered online using the promo coupon. I received the laser, read the instructions, watched an installation video. I then realized the item would not fit my gun. After waiting on the phone for 30 minutes, I decided to email their customer service. I had sent them a scan of the coupon with the correct promo code. I had to return it to them at my expense. They said my refund would be in 7-14 BUSINESS DAYS. They did refund the cost of the item but nothing else including state tax. Simply stated they sent the wrong item.Taurus USA Response

BBB, thank you for the opportunity to respond to Mr. ********* concerns. The item purchased for a ******** firearm not a *** firearm. The wrong item was purchased. When this happens, we do not provide a shipping label to return the item or provide a refund for shipping because we shipped the correct item the customer ordered. Criminal corporation with devious practices. They botched the job on thousands of Firearms when they applied the coat on stainless *** ultra light stainless version. They messed up the coating so bad it has spots on it. So instead of quality control and doing the right thing they sneakily add a picture of the mistake on the website pretending the model was supposed to come this way. Despite the *** being the same frame only a few models have this mistake and instead of Taurus being a decent company they send out the botched versions and then pretend it's a part of the "design"! When I reached out to them they told me they were pins and that's the design. They are not pins its a solid frame. This is just a massive cover up to a botched job and instead of doing the right thing they cover it up and sell these models to unsuspecting customers.Taurus USA Response

I returned a *** because of a safety recall. Their communications on the phone was excellent. They sent a ***** prepaid sticker for the return package. It was repaired and returned to me within 10 days. Incidentally, I never had any problem with the pistol before or after sending it for repair. I now have shot 2K+/- rounds through and not a single problem. Highly recommended.Taurus USA Response

I purchased a brand new Taurus *** and immediately experienced failure to feed issues. Upon contacting customer service, I was advised to send it back for repair, with an estimated 4-week turnaround time. However, 7 weeks later, I still haven't received my handgun. When inquiring about the delay, I was informed that the replacement part needed is not available, and they are waiting for it to arrive. It is unacceptable that a new purchase would require such extensive repairs, let alone the significant delay in getting it back. Taurus should either replace the handgun with a new one or offer a substantial discount for a new purchase. My experience with Taurus' customer service has been nothing short of frustrating. I strongly advise against purchasing a Taurus product, as their customer service is severely lacking.Taurus USA Response

This place is terrible. I ordered from them 2 weeks ago and just got an update on shipping and it says delivered. It never delivered to my house and they say it’s my problem. The customer service is non existent. I got an email from them saying my part was delivered and that is the post offices issue. DO NOT ORDER from hereTaurus USA Response

The order was shipped vis **** tracking ********************** and was delivered to the address provided by **. ****** on 4.4.24. BBB, thank you for the opportunity to respond to **. ****'s review. The firearm was sent in for repair for the trigger guard being damaged by a previous owner. This is not covered under the warranty. His firearm was damaged beyond repair. Being that the damage was done by the customer and is not covered under warranty. We offered a replacement firearm at a discounted price. **. **** declined and the firearm was sent back to him.Review from JORGE C

I wish I read all this before giving this company a go. Ordered a pistol *** from another site during the holidays. I received it and all looked good until I went to add my red dot to it. Not 1 round was fired through it and its still factory new! Someone decided to cover up their mistake with red ******* on a smashed thread for the optic mounting screws. I contacted them after my local gunsmith advised to get the slide replaced. I tried contacting them by phone 4 days in a row 3 times per day at 30-45 minutes on speaker waiting for someone to respond. I emailed and if i recall, almost a week later received a response. I went back and forth with their rep and they would not just send the slide which is understandable but now they have had it for over 2 weeks! How long does it take to inspect a slide, verify Its damaged, send back a slide? 1st and last taurus and now I see why none of my friends own one. I was warned but tried them out anyway. Cant wait to see what lame excuse they post here when I sent clear pictures and gave them the licensed gunsmiths info. My advice, go with ANY other brand! I would gladly let them keep it and refund my purchase price because I am certain it will have other warranty work given the quality of their manufacturing process, remember, not 1 round wen through it and this is how they handle a customer.Taurus USA Response

Sent my .44 ********* in after only 200 rounds. The insert surrounding the firing pin had holes in it. Waiting weeks before anyone even looks at it. Tried calling in and waited on the phone for 48 minutes and no one answered. As of this review the status is “Logged and waiting for repair” after almost 3 weeks. Still have no idea why the long wait. Absolutely last Taurus.Taurus USA Response

Your firearm was deemed unrepairable and we offered you a new replacement. You accepted the replacement and it was delivered in March.
