We contracted ***************************** and his company Prizm Builders, LLC AKA Rockhaven Prizm, and RP Builders LLC to finish our **** sqft basement in October 2020. ***************************, who "runs" the company's business, quoted us $40K and a 120-day time frame to complete the job. They showed up at the job site ONCE a week with their small child and worked roughly 2-3 hours each visit. At the 8th month ***** RP Builders had not finished 1/2 the basement. After requesting a completion date several times, ***** allowed his wife to berate me about their lack of time planning and proper quoting of the project. He told me they were losing money on our job and canceled the contract. Before that, we agreed to meet on site to discuss what needed to be completed to mutually close out the contract with an understanding of vendor purchases, items en route, etc. ***** and his wife came to our home without letting us know they were onsite, cleared their tools, and emailed us that they had left the key under the mat. Long story long, they sent an invoice crediting us $163.00 out of the $20,000 owed for labor and materials for services not rendered. These people are a scam! We're in the process of having the basement completed and having a lot of their electrical, and plumbing work re-done. It took another contractor to help us realize the electrical work they completed (wired the ENTIRE basement) was at 60%. Using a power source tool, we confirmed with our newly hired contractor, *************************, that his company did not do the work properly. PLEASE BEWARE of this contractor! I have documented proof of everything stated in this review.
