Worst credit union/bank I have ever tried to do business with. Customer service is extremely poor with long wait times and wrong information provided by the call center. I started with an auto loan initiated by ***** ****** ***** in ******* *******. I tried to open a saving account and transfer funds with no positive results. After multiple discussions via their secure messaging and waiting on hold extended amounts of time I finally was able to open a savings to coincide with my auto loan. 2 months later I decided to refinance due to difficulty with the bank. Well, it took over a week and discussions with several people to get a 10 day pay off letter. The kept stalling providing a 10 day payoff amount, but not the letter banks need to finalize a refinance. Finally after several calls and messages as well as an email to a manager name Justine C*****, who provided the same basic information as everyone else, I finally got a customer service rep that knew what I wanted and stated yes I can do that. It was emailed to me while I was on the phone. Robins Financial, why do you have to make customer service SO hard and frustrating. NO MORE. BYE. .Review from Yvonne S

This bank is the worst, I needed $1 had money in my savings account. And I was charged a overdraft fee. I am a veteran, they do not help veterans this bank is not telling the truth. I hate when people use veterans to get money, for there business and don't help the veteran. My check has been coming to this bank for 20 years. They have closed my account, had to open another one. This bank just take money. This bank is a scam. PLEASE GO TO ANOTHER BANK.Review from Al T

I never leave reviews about unfavorable experiences. Robins Financial Credit Union customer service at the branch level seems to be at an all time low. I can walk into a branch and walk out with customers personal information including how much money they are receiving or have in their accounts. The information is alway provided by the employees. Privacy issues seems not to be a concern when visiting Robins FCU branches. My complaint today is about the customer experience and the lack of professionalism At the * ******* **** location. Part of this complaint may be a result of training issues with the verification process. A company can not create a policy that conflicts or go against state and federal regulations and create a bias situation towards customers. There’s two employees at this branch that’s going to cause major legal issues for this company if their ethical behavior and actions isn’t monitored more closely. Today, I was told I didn’t correctly provide the verification answers and could not withdrawn funds from my account. I provided my ID and I answered the verification questions as I have every month for the past two years. I even logged into my accounts from my cell for additional verification. The employee took my ID and left their workstation without giving a reason why he was leaving. The employee returned, retrieved a small yellow pad and wrote down my cell number and the last two letters of my last name and left again. By this time I was able to call customer relations, go through their verification process and was able to get a live representative on the phone. The employee then returned and honored my withdrawal request stating I didn’t verify the correct information. I also visited this branch the previous month and the same two employees was just as unprofessional in their interactions with the customers. I wonder what is all ways so funny when you’re taking care of customers. Maybe this is an acceptable practice at this branch.Review from Natacha B

It never failed: each time I called the person on the phone was rude. They tell you to read the guide but the guide itself is not straightforward. Their tone of voice and demeanor are offensive, curt and dismissive! I would never bank with them again.Review from Keisha S

I paid off my account, last payment over the weekend- yeah. I want to close the account. I now have added interest of .06 cents. I was told it would be a $3.00 fee to pay the six cents over the phone. I gave my bank info and was then told I'm not allowed to pay over the phone- "too small an amount". I was told interest will incur everyday. If I go online won't it just post the next day, incuring more interest? This is crazy. I now have to leave work and drive to the bank, no doubt incurring more interest.Review from Stephanie F

Horrible experience. They bought out my amazing small bank and even thought I've provided my credit card and car company with the correct account number and routing number they are not paying the bills. It's like they are holding my money hostage and costing me late fees and I've never had a late payment for anything before. I've opened a new checking account and will go through changing all my direct deposits and bill pay again. Do not choose to open an account with this institution they are horrible and you can never get a hold of anyone in customer service. If you are unfortunate like I was and they buy out the institution you chose to bank with ... run away as fast as you can.Robins Financial Credit Union Response

Worst banking experience of my life. They make it nearly impossible to sign up for auto draft and also make it nearly impossible to easily make payments over the phone each month. I would prefer to never use this company again for anything.Robins Financial Credit Union Response

When I first started banking with robins over 8 years ago, I thought it was great. It used to be awesome. Definitely do not recommend this bank and I would've been long gone but I still have a credit card with them. I will be leaving this bank ASAP when it is paid off. I have had so many problems from this bank it is insane. I had a bank teller write and scribble all over a check that I tried to cash after they refused to cash it because I had "************ ***** to cash the check" and the manager I spoke with refused to tell me her name and tried to justify why the check was written on and given back to me. I had so much trouble cashing the same check the next day with a different bank because it was scribbled on. Not to mention the fact that they are **** poor in every other way possible. Every single employee I have encountered had some kind of attitude, with the exception of Anthony M*****, he's great and robins doesn't deserve him. Their policies and rates have become outrageous. On top of that, their member rebate program is a slap in the face. New year, new bank. I'm switching in 2022.
