      Getting anything done outside of paying premiums is one hoop after another. They must have a protocol of not helping people and instead just keep asking for new forms to be filled out to delay process. A nightmare! Stay away!!

      Waiting month's for my inheritance check and no 1 knows why I haven't gotten it. I have called and call. I been told the back office cuts the checks and the only way to talk to them is email and it take the 24 to 48 hours for them to reply. It been 36 day and they have no clue what's going on. The supervisors are never around.

      Transamerica Life Insurance company is the WORST. I feel it is a BIG SCAM that they get your money and do NOT want to pay it when you file claim. I have been dealing with their nonsense and calls for over 3 months and can never get anywhere with anyone-mostly foreign speaking customer service -which is NO service to the consumer!! Same old song and dance over and over. I am due my cash surrender payment and they will NOT send it to me, even after disbursement forms and my personal info and drivers license has been sent to them 3 times by mail and fax. They report they don't have it--BS!! Someone needs to sue this company and surely have enough clients listed here to do so. THEY ARE A VERY BAD BUSINESS and SCAMMER!!! Transamerica does not even deserve 1 star but had to pick it.

      My father passed away August 5, started the death claim on Aug 6, 2024. I turned in all documentation needed days later. Been told for months now that it's under review, after being told it's been approved and now in review again. We are drowning in my father's debt and need this to pay his bills he left behind. Is there any resolution to getting funds quicker than this? My spouse works for an insurance company and they pay theirs out within 2-4 weeks. It's been 77 days! Bill collectors don't wait, they file lawsuits. I believe we are going to hire a lawyer to get this resolved as they will not let me speak to a supervisor on this and I keep getting told I'm sorry **** it's in review. People pay in way too much money for companies like you to take advantage!

      I filed a claim in August 2024 for my deceased husband. I am still waiting to receive the life insurance payout. Communication is terrible and they have the worst customer service. During a time that is already stressful, I am left waiting on answers. I have called several times and received a different response regarding the status of my claim each time. They continues to stall by requesting paperwork that was already submitted. The company is a Fraud.

      DO NOT USE! This company is the worst in all ways, at least with my experience! My father had a life insurance policy with them, it was to cover funeral costs. Luckily we paid for it out of pocket without having them involved. I sent all the paperwork work they requested and I've been waiting for close to 3 months for the ********* father kept very good records and I have all the correspondence between him and Transamerica. My mother was supposed to be the primary beneficiary, Transamerica says she's not listed...They've sent me mail stating they received notification from the funeral home of his passing. WRONG! My father never had a contract with a funeral home and the one we used never had Transamericas contract information, so that was bogus.Everytime I call I get some B.S. excuse and no one can ever get me in contact with management. I've been told to call back and call back. Every bit of information involving my father's death has been taken care of and in a timely manner, except for his account at Transamerica. I'm tired of dealing with them and I think that's what they want. I think they want you to give up and they just want to keep their money. What a horrible company to deal with!The last person I spoke to said they will have someone call me in 24 hours, i told her I doubt it, no one will call, I've been told that before from them

      I asked for life insurance surrender form, filled out and returned and acknowledge receipt on July, 22, 2024. After waiting for weeks, no money so called and end up talking to *********, ************. There is no way to call and talk to someone at headquarters in ****. The **** in ********* can only do what they are allowed to do so minimal info and excuses. Many, Many calls later I contacted the state insurance commission to look into it. Long story short I finally received my check on Oct,1, 2024! In the mean time I did receive a letter or two with more excuses and false information, the dates just did not add up and the person signing the letter did not put a last name, just an initial.Terrible Company, do your research.

      Zero stars is the only appropriate rating. Transamerica Life is THE WORST company out there. It is impossible to rectify a problem or bring a resolution to what you are trying to do. All of their so called agents lack customer service skills. They are lazy and rude. When things get a little hard for them they purposely disconnect your call. The "agents" all speak broken English and are very hard to understand. After many phone calls to their 800 number I am beyond frustration. I have also been trying the *************** which has a constant voice mail message on. After leaving numerous messages, literally for weeks, none of my calls have been returned. To say they are a nightmare is an understatement.

      I have called Transamerica over 5 times within the last 5 days about my claim and I was lied to, hung up on, and I was given a very bad attitude. I was never put in touch with a supervisor after I asked a dozen times. I was told on 10/7 that my claim was completed on 10/5 and that it typical takes ***** hrs for them to send out the check, but that I could call back on 10/9 and make sure that it was sent out. I called back on 10/9 and was told that it still wasn't sent out and the person I spoke with could not tell me when it would be. She told me that she would put a "rush" on it. I called back on 10/11 and asked if it was sent out yet because it was very important that I get it as soon as possible. That was when the attitude started. They said it still needed to be reviewed by an examiner and that they couldn't tell me how long it would take to send it out. I asked for a supervisor and was put on hold for 15mins before it disconnected on me. I called back and just asked to speak with a supervisor, they wouldn't do that. They said I needed to tell them why I wanted to speak to a supervisor, so I told the whole story and was put on hold. She came back and said that there was an issue that she can't explain but that it was a fault of theirs and although she couldn't give me a date, she could "expedite" it for me. I believe she only said this because she was trying to pacify me and then we end of the conversation without me ever getting to speak to the supervisor. I did receive a call back and a voicemail from a supervisor informing me that it would take 5 to 10 business days before they could send it out. This was on a Friday before a 3-day holiday weekend. I was hoping and expecting to get the check by that day and now I'm being told that I probably won't see it for another week and a half at least!?! **************** only took 6 business days from the day I filed my claim until the day I cashed the check. I plan on filing a complaint with the Attorney General.
