I placed an order for an antenna in February of 2022. After receiving notice that my antenna was ready, I sent a check for payment in the amount of $900, which was $995 less $95 for a part that was unavailable, and I ordered from another vendor per their instructions. The check cleared the bank in late march. It is now May 31, and despite being told my order was boxed and ready to go several weeks ago, my order has still not been shipped. Moreover, trying to reach the vendor is impossible. The phone number goes straight to voicemail, and the online chat is mostly ignored. Given the amount of time that has passed, my order needs to be either delivered, or my funds returned in full.Business response

************* has received his antenna. ************** is correct as there was a delay on delivery. We have actively shipped antennas this entire summer season from a waiting list that he was positioned on, in the order received. When we arrived at his position we shipped promptly. The reason for the back log was our winter season away. Most everyone patiently awaited their antennas and we are grateful. Finally, we have reached out to him asking for his satisfaction. We hope he is paying more attention to his radio pursuits, of course. Ham Radio is fun again!

In early March, 2022, I contacted Greyline Performance Antennas by phone and they confirmed that if I purchased an antenna it would ship within 3-4 weeks. As a result, I placed an order on March 5 and mailed a check to them on March 7th. The check cleared my bank on ****. It should be noted that their website and my receipt both say they will contact the customer prior to cashing the check. AND....the check wouldnt be cashed until the antenna is shipped. To the contrary, they cashed the check and have not shipped the antenna or provided any specific shipping information. I left 2 voicemails and 2 emails between **** and 4-1 asking for shipping info. They didnt respond until I mentioned the Better Business Bureau. On April 1 they replied saying I would be receiving one of the antennas that ship next week. On April 16 I again emailed for shipping info. No reply. On April 19 I emailed and threatened to contact the ***** Attorney Generals ************************** and that got a reply saying shipment was being prepared. As of today, April 23, I have received no shipping information. I would appreciate help in getting the antenna.Business response

Please do apologize for any confusion any ****** optimistic estimated timeline. Our current delay is affecting a patient, yet eager waiting list, and we are right at the finish line. The marketplace is riddled with supply hiccups, with all vendors out of legacy products and some, HF antennas entirely, offering unknown restock dates. We are grateful to be working and building in this way, for our peers.
Regretting the delay in question, you do have an order # and therefore a place in line.
Thank you for writing the various emails and notes here. With customers ahead of you, there is no cutting in front of them.It should also be noted that our caring network of radio-focused small business partners rely on our collective business. We stand with them, especially in these uncertain times. Thanks for your understanding.
Considering the difficulty we have caused for you, it may be best to consider working with another antenna company this time around. We certainly do not wish to slow you down. We understand the eagerness, we are radio ops too.Ham radio is fun again!

I am rejecting this response because:Again, in a phone conversation in early March I was told that they could ship an antenna within 3-4 weeks. Based on that, I ordered one on March 5 and sent them a check for $875. Their policy, clearly stated on their website and on my receipt,states that the check will not be cashed until the product is ready for shipment. Further, they would contact the customer at that time to confirm the shipment.
On March 25 the check cleared my bank, but there was no communication from them. Between March 25 and April 1, I left two phone messages and two emails which were not answered until I mentioned the Better Business Bureau. They then replied through email on April 1 informing me that Id be receiving one of the antennas that ship next week. I received no further shipping information from them.
On April 16 I again emailed for shipping info. No reply. On April 19 I emailed and said I probably needed to contact the ***** Attorney Generals *************************** and that got a reply saying shipment was being prepared.
In their reply to the BBB, they now claim to have delay issues. There were no delay issues mentioned on the phone in early March. There were no delay issues mentioned when they cashed the $875 check. There were no delay issues mentioned April 1 when they said the product would be shipped next week. There were no delay issues mentioned on April 19 when they said the shipment was being prepared.
At this time they have my money and all I have are broken promises and neglected policies. I just want what I paid for and I expect them to follow through with their previously stated promises as any reputable business would.

We do apologize once again for any delay and inconvenience it may have caused the customer. We have experienced our share of learning experiences over the past 6 years and are delighted to adjust and improve with each opportunity to serve you better in our small business.
HISTORY
This order unfortunately, was part of a larger group of patient buyers, caused by an a shut down period (winter 2021/22) with our ************* side of the business. We announced a spring reboot with deep discounts to reward those waiting patiently, which became summer before truly returning to full capacity to then include our ham radio friends. Just about everyone waited patiently and we are thankful for that. Still, some of these orders were misplaced or mismarked in the system during the shuffle, including this one, and we have been eager to resolve each of them.
SOLUTION:
We have been using our new CNC machine since July 2022 with daily deliveries and are hopeful this helps us avoid this sort of learning experience in the future. We are doing our very best, 6+ years now. Thank you.

I am rejecting this response because: I informed Greyline in October of 2022, that I had purchased elsewhere and that I was cancelling the order with them. I requested a refund multiple times and received no reply. In December of 2022 I filed a report with their local police. After being contacted by the police, they sent an antenna (missing parts) rather than a refund. I had no use for the antenna and they knew it. Since then I have sent numerous emails to them and left phone messages which get no reply. I told them I'd keep the antenna and try to sell if to recoup my lost money. I need the missing part to sell it. But they continue to ignore my emails and voicemails (they don't answer their phone). In 9 days it will be one year since I placed the original order and paid for the antenna. Their response to this issue is unacceptable.

I am rejecting this response because: Greyline was informed around November, 2022, that after waiting since March, 2022, that I had purchased an antenna from another company. I requested a refund many times by email and phone. They never replied. When the police contacted them in Jan or Feb, 2023, they sent an antenna rather than a refund. The antenna was missing parts so I spent a few months writing emails and leaving voicemails requesting the parts. Like usual, no replies from them. I was eventually able to sell the antenna (missing parts) for a loss. They had every chance to resolve this and refused to reply or cooperate.

This was previously complaint #********. The BBB closed the complaint in May, but the issue remains unresolved. I paid these guys over $1,000 for an antenna that was never shipped or delivered. They responded to the BBB that they would resolve the issue to my satisfaction, but have never reached out to me, or returned my phone messages or emails.Business response

Looks like we were at fault here. So sorry about this, ****. First, your account is marked unpaid, which does not trigger any action on our end, in theory. I do see the issue in our correspondence now and will push this out to the shipping *****
We were away from the amateur markets for the entire winter season. Upon return in the summer months we found a waiting ilst of buyers. At that point any orders requiring a closer look were set aside. Unfortunately this meant they just had to wait until we could come up for air, down stream, after we caught up a bit. We still have a list, are shipping daily, and will indeed resolve this in the coming week. We hope you will find adventure on the air, very soon.

I ordered a 24 ft Vertical Antenna and SGC 237 Antenna Tuner "bundle" on May 31, 2021 for $1,185. My credit card was charged on June 2, 2021. I received the antenna components but have not received the antenna tuner. I have made numerous inquiries to Greyline over the past several months but have not received a response. My credit card was billed for the entire "bundle " order. The value of the antenna tuner is about $387. Please note that the antenna is useless without the antenna tuner I have also requested permission to return the antenna in its original packaging for a full refund of $1,185 (less shipping) in accordance with their return policy outlined on their web page. Greyline has not responded to that request. My desired resolution is for Greyline to authorize me to return the antenna to Greyline and refund me $1,185 less shipping.Business response

This is a followup to a complaint I filed on 4/9/2022. I had ordered a 24 ft Vertical Antenna and SGC 237 Antenna Tuner "bundle" on May 31, 2021 for $1,185. We have contacted the customer via email today to notify him that he is still on our waiting list and without the stock arrival any action from us would not be triggered. Apologies, we did not see this notice here until today. Happy to refund or send out a suitable *** that is available today to get you on the air immediately. Again, please let us know directly for expediency.
Please note, the *** market is in sporadic-production owing to the widespread component shortages that all *** brands are experiencing. This has been ongoing for over a year. Some stay on the list waiting patiently, any others are offered an in stock alternative to get them on the air.
To clarify one detail: We do not charge a credit card in advance of shipping unless a special circumstance (this order took advantage of a discount package) ie., offering lower pricing which this order and many others were participating. Tracking showed rapid arrival of the antenna however the tuner was delayed into a waiting list. We've since fixed this type of oversight in our system after several occurrences of this nature. ********* is fun again!Customer response

This is an easy resolution and I am sorry for any delay and inconvenience. Our favorite tuner vendor went out of business and thus several buyers were caught up in that. I ordered a 24ft vertical antenna and SGC 237 antenna tuner "bundle" on May 31 2021 for $1,185. My credit card was charged the full amount on June 2, 2021. I received the antenna promptly but have never received the tuner (a $387 retail value). The antenna is worthless without the tuner. Numerous email exchanges have taken place with promises to deliver or refund but nothing has happened. Greyline ships from a post office box in *************,***** but it is not a registered business in *****. Greyline recently suggested they would provide a substitute tuner but they have failed to ship one or refund the value of the tuner.

I ordered a **** line flagpole antenna from **** line performance antenna on sept 27, they said everything was in stock.! Here it is dec 8 and still no antenna, and no answers from email.! Or calls.! The order number is FP-******** I see a lot of complaints from this company.! They were advertised in a major ham magazine put out by AARL.! That led to assume they were a good company.! I contacted you about this bussiness a few months ago.! You seemed to resolve my problem, they were going to ship my antenna I ordered and paid for in sept 2021 .! At a 995 dollar price tag, all paid for.! They said they were going to ship in April 2022, you notified me of this situation.! They lied again! Here it is right at June and still no antenna, and I cant get a response again.! I thought this was settled so I released the first claim.! Now Im filing another complaint.!! The order was from ************************* 0rder # FP-******** placed on sept 27 2021 you should have my first complaint on file and their response.!
