      We went to the Beltone in ********** **** , and my 93 year old mom got tested for new hearing aids , we paid $2850 for them and the doctor there said it takes about 6 weeks to get them in .So he have us a pair to use while we wait for them to come in . We never got a call from them saying that there in . When we called back they said we got them already . I said it was a used pair they pulled from the back room . We never received what we ordered , and they fell apart after 2 weeks , they said if I come to the store to complain they will call the police .All we want is the new pair we ordered . Or our $2850 back . And not a old pair we got for the intern wait . We never received what we ordered . It was around between **** -23. And 2-15-23 for *********************** ************************** ********* ****. My name is ***********************'m her son my telephone number is ************ email **************** if you ask them about ordering hearing aids if there not in stock how long will it take for them to come in , they told us 4-6 weeks . And said that they will adjust them to her ears . But we never received them and didn't hear from them .when we called they said we have them already . Just ripped us off ! Terrible .       In May of 2021 I was issued new state of the art rechargeable hearing aid through ******************************* Office. Since that time I have been back 8 times during 2021, 7 time during 2022 and 1 time in 2023. I have consistently told them they are not right, they don't work properly. They would make a cursory adjustment and tell me to come back in a month or 6 weeks. When I went in January 2023, they told me that they should have been charging me for the visits since I was only entitled to 3 visits. They did not charge me in January since I had not been made aware of this issue previously. They gave me another appointment for April 18 telling me if they had to go into the computer to make an adjustment, they would have to charge me $150. Now, on April 18 when I attempted to keep my appointment, I found the ********* location had been permanently closed. I was never notified of this closure.On April 28, 2023 I wrote a letter to Beltonein *******, ************, copies to Corporate in ******* and one to *********** Health Benefits expressing my frustration. After a couple of weeks, I received a call from a man named ****** who told me my letter made it to his desk and he wanted to make things right. He gave me his direct number ************ and told me he would continue to follow up on my issues. I didn't hear anything from anyone and called his number and left 3 messages letting him know that now the hearing aids were not working at all. After no response. I called his number again and was told by automation that the number was either changed, disconnected or no longer in service. So, at this time, I have reverted back to my original hearing aids with batteries required and no idea how to get this issue resolved. My plan does not allow me a new set of hearing aids until next May. I would appreciate it if someone could look into Beltones reputation.

      I am rejecting this response because: Since I will not be in contact with Beltone within the 7 day period, I cannot be sure that the complaint will be resolved. My appointment with Beltone is scheduled for June 29 so, at this time, nothing is resolved. Until I have had the hearing aids looked at and have them working properly, I guess I am rejecting.

      I've had $5500 Beltone hearing aids for 5 ****** ********* never worked satisfactorily. Then the charger copany went out of ********* *** just spent $75 for *********. Then the left hearing aid stopped working, ***'m told I must've gotten it wet (I did not) & it will cost me $400 to have it fixed. Could I have gotten a "lemon"? This is the worst purchase I've ever made.

      The Beltone providers, ************, **., are trying to remedy the problem, but haven't so far because this aid, which was sent to them by the manufacturers, appears to be of poor quality, a lemon. This is what they have to work with.. If they are unable to correct the problem, I would like the main office to know that it is a product of poor quality, & outrageously priced to their customers who are mainly the elderly on fixed incomes. I have spoken to neighbors who agree about the poor quality & outrageous prices, but they feel helpless & frustrated, so just cut their losses & endure it. Beltone used to be a reputable name, but is no longer living up to it. This has been my experience.

      I purchased these hearing aids in 2018 as a replacement for the ones I had since 2012. I was told that my old aids needed to be replaced. I had digital quality hearing aids that were puchased in 2012 from a Beltone dealer in ********* ********. They were trouble free for 6 years. I moved up north and started dealing with Skoric Hearing centers in *********** **. and ***** **. As I stated above in 2018 I puchased a new set from Beltone Skoric hearing center in *********** **. They were nothing but problems and I was offered another set with a 3 year warranty in 2019. Since that time I had to send them both in For a complete repair. Now they are out of warranty and I am in ******* for the winter and having problems with them again. I went to a Beltone hearing center here and they have to send them out again at my cost to repair them. I still owe $2500 dollars on these aids and they won't last 2 years without costly repairs to me. I paid $ **** for them and they are a lesser quality hearing aid than my originals. I wasn't offered any different model. I called Beltone Corporate and they won't do anything to help me. I feel my hearing aids should last more than 2 years without having to spend $900 for repairs that often. I am retired and cannot afford these costly repairs all the time. I feel that Beltone should replace my aids with a better quality aid to avoid this problem at no cost to me. I don't have a ************ in Skoric hearing centers as of bad experience with the type of service provided. My experience in ******* has been much better.

      The warranties for the products are listed on your purchase agreement. Extended warranties are also available for certain models. If the warranty has expired on your product it is usual and customary to charge for a repair. I do see we have sent a new aid out today to replace one of the units that is in warranty.

      I am rejecting this response because: My hearing aids were replaced in 2018 with another set of the same kind. The first set did not even last one year. The current set was issued in 2019 with a 3 year warranty. I was charged full price again for the second set of $5995. They have been into the factory for complete repair within the first 2 years and repaired under warranty. Now the warranty has lapsed and they are giving me problems again. I still owe $2400 on theses aids and now I have to spend hundreds of dollars on repairs. I have them serviced all the time. Corporate could not help me with this issue and told me they should be sent in every year for service. At $450 per aid for repair that is alot of money on top of what I paid for these aids. I was never given a choice of different model of better quality and have received nothing but poor service from Skoric hearing centers where I purhased these from. My original aids were digital quality and they gave me a downgraded model and didn't offer any thing else. I didn;t know this or I would not have made this purchase. My digital aids were trouble free for 5 years. Now the current aids if I sweat it can cause damage to the aids. What good are they if I can't wear them in the summer. I am very dissapointed in theses aids and the service I have received. Skoric hearing center have ripped me off. I will spread the word. I have received the best care and service herer in *********** *******.

      Purchased hearing aids for $3000, in 2022 from Beltone, ***********************, and was told they would be functional with my ******* Galaxy cell phone. Have had problems with that function for the last year. Went today because again they weren't working. The reply I received was "oh well, I told you they might not work with the Galaxy cell phone " NEVER EVER DID THEY TELL ME THAT OR ELSE I WOULDN'T HAVE PURCHASED THEM! My husband recently passed away and I now have to purchase hearing aids that I can't afford, but I can't afford to not be able to hear.

      i have heard nothing from Beltone after the original  telephone call.  When I purchased these hearing aids, it was done so with the stipulation that they would work in conjunction with my ******* Galaxy cellphone.   It was NEVER EVER said to me that thus feature "might not work."  I may be old but I'm not senile nor rich.   I would NEVER spend $3,000 for something that I was told "might not work."  I now have to purchase hearing aids again because of their negligence, and I believe I should be reimbursed for at least half the amount I paid.  I will NEVER go back to Beltone and I will let everyone know my experience with this company.  I believe I should get restitution for their faulty hearing aids.  This was not due to anything I created.

The beltone office at *********************************************************************************** keeps sending information to my address in my father's name. I have contacted them multiple times to ask them to stop - informing them he is dead but they won't stop. I need them to acknowledge their harassment and agree to stop.

      Purchased my aide in August 2022. Worked fine at first but after several months one or the other aid would not work. I took them back to the local office repeatedly. They finally sent the aids and ************ to the home office and got new one. Problem I had the same problem as before so doubt these are new. Office finally said oh well nothing they can do. I started keeping a log fro 11/1 as to when the aids worked and not.l As of today it has been 4 days since my left one has worked. I am totally dissatisfied with these and keep on paying. I told the local office I wanted a refund of ny $500 down payment and alll payments made to the *************** I am not new to hearing aids been wearing them for years with no problem. I am totally dissatisfied its these What can be done about getting my money back and returning these aids????

      I purchased Hearing aids around July 11th, 2022 at the *********** Beltone. I paid $11,000.00 for something I can not use. One time the hearing aids were sent out to be repaired. One time the man came to my home to repair them. Another time I went to the office to have them repaired, the rubber dome was inside out. Once again I am unable to wear them. This time the dome has completely come off. I called and spoke with the receptionist about a refund. She said she would speak to the man. Im assuming he was the audiologist. I never knew his name. The receptionist called my mobile phone and left a message. I returned the call and left a message. I have not heard from them since. That has been approximately 2 months. I am widowed and on a fixed income. I am making payments monthly to care credit for loaning me $3,000. My insurance paid $3,000. The remaining $5,000. was out of pocket. I had to call my financial advisor and request money. I have only been able to wear the hearing aids 1 month since I purchased them. They were either not working or would fall out of my ear. So now I am without working hearing aids once again. I believe I was scammed. I would appreciate the BBB getting involved in this complaint.Thank you
