On October 15, 2021 my kids and I checked into the Hyatt House in *******, **. We did not bring any bags in because we just landed and had to use the restroom. While getting on the elevator two older men threaten me and my kids safety. So once we made it to the room, we called back home and left the Hyatt. Walking to our vehicle a group of college boys were in the car and also made rude and racist remarks, stating if we call the police we would never be found. I contacted this establishment and they could care less. They stated I would still be charge and offer me 15% if I wanted to stay in the future. This establishment was not accommodating nor was it safe. I ended up having to go to another hotel and spend more money on something that I have already paid for.

I stayed at the Hyatt in ****** on ***********************. It was one of the worst stays in my entire time traveling. The party next to me was up all night talking loudly on the phone and then I can hear him saying that he was going to be getting a prostitute to bring back and later that night, I could hear that he indeed did this. I called the front desk multiple times to complain and no one answered. This hotel lets anyone in at all times of night and I felt very unsafe.

On October 18th, 2021 I booked a hotel reservation with Hyatt Place in *********, ****. The reservation was for check-in on December 26th with check out being December 31st. The reservation was booked with rewards points and a free award night, the reservation number was ********. Today November 23rd I received an email stating my free awards night for December 26th was canceled. Upon reading the cancellation email I was informed that not just one night, but all nights were canceled even though I only received a notification regarding the evening of December 26th. I asked why the reservation was canceled since it was all booked on points, therefore pre-paid and they stated that the credit card used to hold the non-revenue generating rooms was declined, yet they never attempted to call me to resolve the issue or charge the two other credit cards on file. Of course, when I went to re-book the reservation the hotel was fully booked except for one night which was listed for significantly more than our original agreed-upon terms. It is blatantly obvious the hotel management opted to cancel my peak date reservation in favor of a higher-paying reservation. This is scammy behavior and unethical to do 1 month prior to the check-in as we have already booked complimentary reservations like season ski passes, rental cars, flights, dinners, excursions, and RSVP'd to a wedding.
