This happened in 2020. ************************* from Chicago Canine Company was paid $2500 to train my dog. He also requested I purchase a $200 electronic collar for my dog for training that he hasn't returned. He promised to train my dog for (2) one-hour sessions per week for 6 weeks. He trained my dog ONE time with me and stopped responding. I've retained an attorney to take him to court, but when the Sheriff went to the address he has on his website for Chicago Canine Company to serve him, there is no building there. It's a parking lot. At the very least, using an address that isn't connected in any way to this business is fraud.Initial Complaint

I HIRED ************************* OF CHICAGO CANINE, TO TRAING MY 8MTH OLD CAVA POO. HE WAS SOOOO CONVINCING THAT HE WAS THE 1 FOR THE **** THE *** OR THE "ORIENTATION" HE SHOWED UP TO MY HOME 2HOURS LATE, ONLY TEXTING ME AFTER MY APPOINTMENT TIME THAT HE WAS "ON HIS WAY" RED FLAG, BUT ME EXCITED TO START TRAINING, I OVER LOOKED IT AND ALLOWED HIM TO STILL COME LATE..... HE GET TO MY HOME HE IMMEDIATELY START BRAGGING LITERALLY FOR 1 HOUR SHOWING PICS OF HIS INSTAGRAM AND OF HIS PREVIOUS CLIENTS THAT HE HELPED. AFTER LOOKING THROUGH HIS ENTIRE IG PAGE I HIRED HIM, THINKING HE WAS THE ONE FOR THW **** THE NEXT 30 MINS WE DISCUSSED WHAT I WANTED FOR MY FURBABY AND HOW HE WOULD GET THE *** DONE. TOLD ME WHAT I NEEDED TO ORDER FROM AMAZON AND WE AGREED THAT Our official traing will take place on Sun. @ 9am,The day after this meeting. Well, Sunday comes I text him about 9:15-/+ to see if he was coming was he running late ,No response for about 2.5 hours he then texted me saying he over slept. So basically our 1st training session was a NO call No Show....attempted to reschedule he didn't respond to my request until later that week ssing he could come on a wed. While I'm at work.... two days later my furbaby was stolen..... ask Prentice for a refund. After numerous calls and text msg I finally got a response from his girlfriend ****** saying g he dont do refunds. The pretice call me 5 mins after talking to his girlfriend, he called from a private number and basically told me he wouldn't refund me my money cause he shared info with me and that I could take him to court. Poor customer service. I h Think he needs to humble himself. He feels he should keep $800 for doing absolutely nothing. I did fail to mention during the 30 mins if him showing me what he would be working on, he gave my furbaby soo many trying treats my pup actually vomit because she had never had soo many treats at one time.....
