      My experience with Nationwide Tax Care mirrors many of the complaints about their lack of services across the board.I received what appeared to be a warrant from my states tax authorities and, mistakenly thinking it was from them, contacted Nationwide. That was my first error, followed by choosing to work with Nationwide after hearing about their promising services.Starting in March 2024, Nationwide was proactive in setting up services (via email), but they soon began offering various explanations for delays, reassuring me they were in contact with my states tax department after no status updates on their end. Despite this, I received multiple warrants from my state tax authorities and incurred additional fees while waiting for what I hoped would be a resolution from Nationwide.Over the course of several months, Ive emailed and called numerous times requesting a refund, with no response or status updates. There is no online portal to track progress either. My primary concern now is receiving a refund for services that were never delivered and ensuring my personal information is deleted from their databases.Frankly, I believe this company is a scam. Earlier this year, I checked the BBB due to growing concerns, and at that time, Nationwide wasnt listed. While its disappointing to be in this situation, I find some comfort in knowing Im not alone.

      Dear ***, On 07/3/2024 the state of ******** approved an Installment Agreement for $100.00 per month and covering the balance of $3,639.38 from ********* (47 months). This is the lowest amount NY **** of taxation was able to approved based on you financials.

      I paid them to get a tax resolution for me with the irs. Instead of doing so they took my money out of my account for almost a year. I called them several times they continue to tell me someone will call me about me problem. I want a refund because they did not do anything besides take my money.

      Deceptive and predatory marketing.They send a letter that looks like it's from an official capacity such as the *** or the *********************. The title header says "Notice of State Tax Lien..." They are eliciting fear and, as a law firm, they know very well that they are engaging in deceptive marketing practices. They should be ashamed of ************* the bottom, in very small print (most people will have already been freaked out and called this scammy marketing) it has a disclaimer. They know nobody reads that and it is obvious that their intent is to fool people into thinking it's an official notice not to be ignored.Also on the bottom, they fraudulently claim that they have an A+ with the BBB, in fact they have a B.

      I am rejecting this response because: they avoided answering anything at all. They are using deceptive and predatory marketing, and fraudulently misrepresent their BBB rating. This is an attorney's office. They know better, but choose to be above ethics, morality, and law.

      On or about October 2023 I contacted nationwide tax care after my consultation I opted to pay them $385 in four installments to resolve and lower what I owe in state taxes they stated that they would get back to me asap about the matter Ive called and called was texted a few times on the matter only for them to tell me they are working on it. I called several times and had to leave messages about this matter with no reply so I waited and waited and received letters from the state that they are putting Liens on my property or are going to garnish my wages so I called a few more times spoke to ****** ****** myself this time he stated its being handled and I sent him copies of the letters I received from the state never heard a thing back from him. So on august 24th 2024 I contacted nationwide tax care and a female answered and I told her the whole story and I told her I wanted a refund she stated I would have my refund in 5 day back into my account. Four days passed and I get a letter from the state about my taxes Im put on a payment plan of $350.00 a month 11 installments my taxes werent lowered the payment plan was too high to pay a month and I was never contacted by ****** ****** again, but I did contact him and told him I wanted my money back due to him not doing as he said he would. It took a year for him to do anything about my taxes putting a band aid on things until the last minute. Now he wont accept my calls and I called nationwide tax care and they hang up on me I want my money returned due to the fact he sat on this and never lifted a finger until the last minute when he found out I wanted a refund. It was stated I would have my refund in 5 days and it never happened. This was wrong and unprofessional and I would greatly appreciate my money returned asap. They didnt do what they told me they would do and not in a timely manner either thats theft by deception in my book. Can you help?

       On 08/28/2024 the PA Department of Revenue approved an Installment Agreement for $350.96 per month due on the 28th of each month. The first payment is due 8/28/2024.

      I am rejecting this response because: as they stated they did set me up on a payment plan that I had no idea about until I received correspondence pertaining to the tax liability they could have called me, texted me or even emailed me. But the original plan was to get my tax liability lowered then set me up on a payment plan and they stated I may not have to pay any tax liability so what happened ?  They are incompetent, no communication, and terrible service it took him a year to get this taken care of? Well I’m not at all happy with the results I want my money back I’m not satisfied with this outcome and you should have contacted me first I could have set myself up on a payment plan this is ridiculous social media is a wonderful tool I’ll will take this there next!

      They didn’t do what they said they would do #1 they stated and assured me that they could reduce my taxes and I may not have to pay anything or an affordable payment plan. 
      #2 I spoke with one of their agent and she stated I would get a refund in 5 business days which I didn’t. 
      #3 I will use social Media and let everyone know not to use nation wide tax care they are a scam.

      I have paid this company and the refuse to return calls and no work has been updated. I am still getting documents from ***. I call them over and over and the receptionist always says someone will call me and they never do. I want my money back! It has been 8 months.

I have called them and asked them to stop and was greeted with someone being rude saying thats not how it works I just want to be put on the dont mail list!

      March 2024, we hired National Tax Credit to assist with our past due taxes. Sent them a lot of our very personal details as well as their requested fee. The only thing they managed to do was take our money. We called them every week, left voicmails, and if we ever did speak to someone it was always a load of lies and false promises. They literally NEVER call you, NEVER follow up, and NEVER give you any solid answers. They are always vague, and tell you that it will be a couple more days and that someone (whom you never get to speak to) is "handling" your case. Word of advice, save your money, they are just a scam and need to be properly addressed.

      I have been trying to reach this company for the past few weeks regarding a case I have open with them. Left multiple voicemails and never hear anything back. With this being a tax business it is very important that I hear back. Ill be told a case manager is available and when Im transferred over I get a voice mail no matter what. This is an issue regarding over $1000. Im not sure if this company is a scam or whats really going on at this point.

This was a few weeks ago, I still have no received anything. *** tried multiple times since this original complaint to talk to the company and I keep being throw to the side. This issue is not with the state of Indiana it is with this company and the lies they throw out pretending to help I am told to expect a check and I expect a check. Has this been mailed like I was told it would be?

Instead the money was just taken from me and then you guys are trying to wipe your hands with it like nothing happened. At this point it is only fair that the money that was given up front for this service is returned if the full debt will not be paid back to me. Your company did nothing, there was not a service done for me.

      I paid ***************** to help me with an outstanding tax amount through the state of ****. It took me a little while to file my 2019 tax return as I was waiting on my W2 from my former employee. The original amount I owed was $2500 ish. I never received any information after I filed my taxes. I was finally able to get a hold of my case manager and she verbally told me she sent in an Offer In Compromise to the state Of ****. After leaving her numerous messages and emails about updates I was finally able to reach her and she told me that since my taxes that I filed for 2019 were under $1000 she would not be able to make an Offer In Compromise for me. This is after she told me she had already sent on in to the State of **** the month before. This company did nothing but take my money. I called the ************************ and the state of Ohio taxation department and was told that an Offer In Compromise was never filed and that they never had any contact from Nationwide Tax Care. All they did was take my money

      ************************* and Nationwide Tax Care had my matter since January and I was told they were in contact with the **** In May I got a notification from the *** that my matter had gone to collections. I let ****** know. He told me he put in a request for $100 a month payment. In May ahold was put on my bank account also by the **** I then could never get a call back from ****** or his office and I called them at least once or twice a week. And as of July 8 the *** took the entire amount out of my bank account. On July 9 I received a call directly from the **** They had been trying to co tact ****** since June 11th and he would never call them back either.

      You keep referring to the 2023 tax return however you are well aware that this issue involved my 2022 return which was the reason I hired you in the first place.

      This solves nothing. You keep referring to the 2023 taxes.  But this still has absolutely nothing to do with the 2022 taxes that you were hired originally to assist with and which is the issue I am having. I did not need you to provide me with anything as the *** contacted me directly about your negligence in responding to their request at all.
