      I bought a motor at OReillys that had a 3 year warranty from LKQ in 2019. The motor used oil, causing the car to knock. This happened in November 2021. I contacted LKQ about replacing the bad motor, and they never would call me back. I took the motor to a certified shop and they ran a diagnostic test, which confirmed it had a bad cylinder on number 3. I will attach photos from the diagnostic test. The ceritified shop (Justin's ***** said they would contact LKQ about replacing the motor. The owner, ******, called LKQ, who said they would replace the motor. Since then, we have been unable to reach LKQ. We left several messages back in December 2021, and have gotten no response. I paid $3200 for the new motor and my warranthy expired in March 2022.

      I am rejecting this response because:
      I am writing in response to an email I received from BBB today, stating that the issue was resolved and the case has been closed. The issue has not been resolved. I responded to an email I received from BBB, stating that LKQ has requested more information from me. I only had an option to decline the offer or accept. I chose the accept offer, but stated in the email to BBB that the case was not resolved, and then I went on to provide the case number that LKQ had requested. I would like for this case to stay open until resolved. LKQ has asked for more information, but they have not agreed to replace the broken motor.

      I would like to describe the Nightmare of an experience I have received working with Allusedparts.com Automotix llc and LKQ who are all affiliated. I ordered a transmission online Sat 06/04 and the funds for the transmission were taken from my account. The transmission was listed as a 2012 cvt with all the correct specs for my car. I let my transmission repair guy know who scheduled me in since my car is undrivable at the moment. I called Monday morning to customer ********************** at allusedparts.com. They confirmed at first it was the correct part and would be shipped but upon checking closer they realized they had inventoried the incorrect part and were shipping out a 2015 non CVT although my receipt and order showed a 2012. The hold time to speak with a rep was at least 30 minutes each time I had to call in. I called back was placed on hold for about 45 minutes the next rep came back told me the order was incorrect and would be canceled. I asked that due to the error someone help me with the situation as now I am out the funds to repair my car and it sets me back even more. The rep said no nothing they can do the order is being canceled. I asked to speak to a higher up for assistance I was told no and the rep hung up the call on me. I called back and waited another ******************************************************************************************** This whole time I kept my cool and was nothing but nice to the reps on the line. I then researched where the part was coming from which was LKQ out of ******. I researched and reached out to the General Manager ***************** I called his listed number directly left a voicemail and he returned my call later that day. He was apologetic had me forward an email of my receipt to him directly and then stated he would research into what can be done and would contact me back directly. I have yet to receive a call back. I checked to see if my order had been refunded after days since it was canceled, and I still have yet to

      On 8/11/21 I paid *********** Mobile Mechanic $2369.10 to purchase a ****** Prius engine from LKQ *************. Upon receiving car from Bill's car ran like c*** I drove straight to my mechanic ****** Automotive in ***********, ** (100 **) who diagnosed the motor as bad. We have over the last 5 mo called LKQ ************* trying to get another engine or authorization to fix the current one. All test results have been sent to and acknowledged by LKQ with no resolution. Customer ********************** is non existent. ***************** will not call back.

      On January 27, 2022 at 8 pm my car engine blew up. I towed it to the mechanic *********************** Garage in **********, **. He installed the used engine I paid $17,000 with 8k miles from LKQ Corp and their wholesaler ******** Auto Parts, and ******** gave their customary ****** mile/12 month warranty parts/labor. ***** had installed this engine 6 months earlier. After 6 months this engine blew and ***** was told by Rep **** that LKQ would not honor the warranty. So ******** said ok they will honor the parts warranty but not the labor warranty. So my mechanic is not getting paid for this big job. In all fairness my mechanic did nothing wrong but was sold a damaged engine and they would not honor their warranty. I still do not have my car because they have all been arguing over who will pay what if anything. But they found a replacement engine with ****** miles rather than ***** but refuse to give any kind of warranty on this one. I feel my mechanic should be paid for labor and they should honor the warranty they sold it with.

However, the part sold to Oreilly Auto Parts came with a 12 month, unlimited mile part replacement warranty. a claim was opened and later denied. Oreilly Auto Parts elected to replace the part.       We purchased a remanufactured engine from LKQ for *****. 25 with a **** mile warranty. The truck went 22 miles before a valve broke damaging the engine. LKQ does not want to cover the warranty. They say it was not a manufacturer problem. My mechanic does not agree. He believes the valve breaking is what caused the damage. I've talked to the warranty department they tell me it's up to the sales department. I called the sales department they tell me it's up to the warranty department. Know where on my receipt does it say that the warranty only covers a manufacturer issue.

      I have had my truck at *************** since March of this year for rear end issues. Per warranty a new rear end was ordered through LKQ, when the rear end arrived it was installed and found to be bad during the test drive, I then had to fight alongside auto nation **** to even get ahold of someone at LKQ. Finally after almost 2 weeks of constant calling and leaving messages I finally got a hold of someone who advised they have to send a inspector out to verify the failed rear end......so I waited another 2 or three days for that. Once the inspector verified the complaint I was informed that it would be 10 to 15 days before another rear end was shipped.....finally the 2nd rear end arrived, just to find out this one was also bad. Now autonation and I are working with a representative named ************************* who advised autonation they will send a 3rd rear end but have no ETA on when it will ship because they have to build it.....auto nation advised they want to just rebuild the rear end but LKQ does not want to pay for that nor have auto nation even open the rear end to figure out what the issue is. I have been out a truck for 3 months due to the back to back failed rear ends from this company, I would like them to pay for auto nation to repair the last rear end they sent so I am not having to wait another possible month for a 3rd rear end that *** or *** not work.

      I was trying to sale my car to LKQ, They picked it up I didn't have my title or ID it took a while for me to attain all of that due to **** It took longer than anticipated to get the items I needed for them to write me a check I've been going up there weekly trying to get my money with the paper ID the tag agency gave me, finally my ID comes in today I go up there to get the check and they tell me they couldn't keep the car o er 10 days so they impound it, they didn't inform me of that until today I just want my money or my car back. They've had the car since the beginning of April ample amount of opportunity to tell me this I would have had my car towed back home.

      On 4/19/2022, I purchased a used replacement engine for our 2022 ****** Camry from LKQ of ******** on a mechanic's referral (invoice# *********). Upon delivery to our auto repair shop (******* Auto *************** it was discovered that the engine was incompatible with our vehicle since the vehicle was built in ***** not the **** LKQ apparently is aware of this difference but sold me the incorrect engine nevertheless. Although LKQ refunded the purchase of the incorrect engine, they should also compensate me for the $456.00 of extra labor costs of the auto repair shop (invoice# *****) to change out the incompatible engine for a new correct replacement engine purchased from their competitor.

      I am rejecting this response because:  LKQ apparently were aware of vehicle engine incompatibility issues between their product and my vehicle in advance but decided to sell their engine to me anyway resulting in excessive costs incurred by my auto repair shop.  I contend they are thus obligated to reimburse me for the excessive costs as a result of their negligence.

      Bought a transmission from the company for an Audi A4. The transmission cost with shipping was right at $1000. Had transmission installed and programmed at Audi dealership at total cost of $1600. Transmission didnt work. Contacted company. This all started 3 months ago and car still not drivable. Finally have another transmission on the way and LKQ tried charging $75 fee to ship another transmission. Customer ********************** is useless and not friendly at all. Basically told me the money spent on install not their problem and wont even try to help. Would not suggest buying any products from this company, ever.
