DO NOT USE THIS SHOP-zero stars! I took my car in to the ******* location (chosen from the ******** list of recommended body shops) for repairs to the right front passenger door of my car - which is 2 years old and was in perfect condition (besides the new dent that needed to be fixed). When I was told it was ready & I picked it up, which was at the end of the day on a Friday, I took care of the paperwork and was sent on my way. I was not shown my car before I left - I wish I had looked at it! While driving home I noticed a white substance all over the inside of the windshield! As I looked around I saw it all over the INTERIOR of my car in random places. When I got home & parked I saw that it was literally all over the car - in the back seat, on the inside of all of the windows, the dashboard, the speedometer display, inside the air vents! On the floor boards, inside all of the door jams, in the cup holders, inside the tiny circular sound system holes! I was unbelievably upset! I called Gerber before they closed that day to find out what happened. The manager said he had no idea but I could bring it back *************** take care of it. When I took it back, he looked at it & said it was nothing that could have happened there! He said "maybe you don't remember it being like this when you brought it in"!! He did try to clean it off, acting like he was doing me a favor! It was absolutely NOT like that when I brought it in!! He had to use a razor blade to get whatever it is off the windshield. I asked to speak with the worker who did the repair-to the door-to try to find out what happened & the manager wouldn't do that. I left after an hour, still not knowing what happened & it STILL not being right. The next day, the white stuff was back on all of the places he wiped it off from! I have no idea what it is or how to get it cleaned! I will not go back there. I wish I NEVER took my car there. They did not do a great job fixing the dent, they ruined my car, and they lied!!Gerber Collision & Glass Headquarters Response

At this point, we have had four different issues with the manager at Gerber Collision. Sometime this year we has a leak in our car and the manger refused to inspect the video. Instead, he sent us a ******* video of a random man showing there was a recall on the impala. We went to ***** and the inspected the car for us and saw that the video was wrong. The took pictures and gave us details in writing for the issue. We went back to Gerber and they told us the same thing and refused to inspect the car. Moving forward, we had a broken window on our car and they told us they will call us and give us a date to fix it. Our insurance company called us and said that they told him they will not be fixing the car. I called Gerber and apparently the manager told them he will not service our car and repair it. They didn't even call us and tell us. We were waiting around for the call. We could have easily taken our car to another shop to be serviced. This company has no values. There is ALWAYS an issue when we take our cars there. The manager has poor character. That place should be closed down! I don't understand why it is still open. They apologize on ****** for the review a left but they don't mean it. The response is there because he doesnt want to make a poor impression on his business. Honestly, he isn't mature enough to pick up the phone and be a man about the situation. It is sad and we honestly feel like this company is racist. We are a black family and we see how poor the service is to us. We have never gave them any issues or have been disrespect towards them. Please be careful the manager there is racist and dishonest.Gerber Collision & Glass Headquarters Response

They used after market parts and junk yard parts on my car. They said they would warranty all the parts and labor. All the parts have gone bad. Ball joints went bad, cv axle, mirror, strut, control arm.and wheel bearing. The first time they did the wheel bearing they installed it in backwards. They put a mirror on the car that was bad and made use find out what they broke before they would replace the mirror. They forgot to tighten the the bolts on the control arm which I Hade to pay someone else to fix. Hade to pay ***** to tell me what Gerber messed up to get them to install it correctly. The paint is rusting and they looked at it again said they would fix it and every thing that is broken with oem parts. Then when it was time to bring it in to get fixed they said they changed their mind they aren't fixing it now. They are lairs and do very bad work. Save your self the nightmare of going to them. I have my attorney getting ahold of them, he hade my paperwork from when the accident happened. Hoping my attorney can help me get out of the mess this place has but me in. Plus the lady at the desk always has an attitude when you call them. Never again hope this helps everyone that thinks about going to them make the correct choice before ending up in my shoes. Sad every part they replaced went bad so fast not just one part every part they used. If it wasn't because of them installing it wrong or using junk yard parts it went bad because of how cheap the parts where that they used maybe all the parts came from junk yard kinda seems that way to me .plus that kind of work can kill someone. Wish I could give a zero star rating instead of one.Review from Clarise C

I thought it would be okay because this so called business was on my ***************** "The Hartford "Auto Repair list. BUT BEWARE IT'S ALL A SCAM. I was disappointed on both ends deceived by one for money over the years of paying into the policy and the other two months of waiting while he smile in my face while being deceitful at the same time by taking new parts off my SUV, the exact same reason I was there in the first place vandalism. You Have Been Warned.Gerber Collision & Glass Headquarters Response

My car was git on July 6th and brought to Gerber on the 8th to ***** the damages for insurance. The 1st opening for my car to be brought in to start repairs wasn't until Aug 1st. almost a month later I keep getting robo emails stating the car will be completed on Aug 15th and repairs are being done on time. Today I went to check and my car is just sitting in the lot looking the same. They say they are waiting on parts and still haven't had diagnostics check if a sensor needs to be replaced. Today is Aug. 12th and no parts as of yet. But text updates say it's almost completed...not going to happen.Gerber Collision & Glass Headquarters Response

Have a ******* Sonata that had a cracked window on the drivers side and I took it to Gerber on Lehigh on July 24 in ******** for an estimate. Estimate was $475 and I was given an appointment for repair two days later. I brought the car in for the repair when the shop opened but was advised that the repair glass sent was incorrect and a proper replacement had been requested and I would need to return again two days later. Two weeks after the estimate, the necessary replacement still has not arrived at Gerber. I took the car to another body shop, which received the needed glass in day and promptly completed the repair. Gerber's performance has been appalling and caused endless misery for me. Absolutely no defense for this awful treatment.Gerber Collision & Glass Headquarters Response

My car was hit on the drivers side and I took it for repair at Gerber Collision and Glass located at ***********************************************. When I got the vehicle from the shop, it started making some weird noise. After I returned the vehicle back to the shop, the staff told me to drive him around to listen to the noise but the noise did not come up because we drove a short distant. The staff did not even check the vehicle. He told me to go to another shop for them to check the brakes even after I told him that the car did not have any brake problem including any noise before the accident.I did not take the car to any shop and after two weeks, different parts underneath the car including the fender liner and undercover fell off from the driver's side that was repaired and the front lower grill part of the vehicle which was not damaged in the accident fell off too. When I returned the vehicle to the shop the second time, the staff said it is not covered by warranty and I have to pay out of pocket. I discovered that the car was well polished outside but inner parts were not repaired properly and the noise was related to the repairs because after the parts fell off, there was no weird noise like before but smoke came up from underneath the car. Furthermore, some parts that fell off were the original parts from the manufacturer which reveals that those parts were not replaced during the repair and they were not replaced back properly. Now my car is undrivable and I have to find a shop where to take it for repairs which will cost me money out of pocket and the company was already paid by my insurance for the repairs.I will never recommend this company to any friend, family, neighbors, or business owners because the staff did not take my concerns seriously and that is risking my life. In addition, it was not good to tell me that the vehicle is not covered under warranty after two weeks when it was their fault.**********************Gerber Collision & Glass Headquarters Response

I brought my 2023 ****** COROLLA in for body work and painting and unfortunately my experience could NOT have been worse! After the car was repaired, everything appeared to be fine but after about 4 months the paint began to peel on the bumper near to right headlight. Just to be clear, I understand things can happen and maybe it wasn't prepped properly or there was paint failure. I took it in stride. After having brought the car in for the second time and after they installed a new bumper and repainted it, I got the car back and it wasn't calibrated! That's RIDICULOUS! How could somebody not notice the car needed recalibration, the thing lights up like a Christmas tree when you turn it on! So now I'm driving a car without ANY SAFETY SYSTEMS WORKING! What happens if I get into an accident? Does that make me liable? Does that make Gerber Collision and Glass liable? Who the actual HECK (would like to use a stronger word here) DOES THIS?Oh by the way, while there was a severe thunderstorm, I don't appreciate the fact that the entire driver's side floor and the inside of the door entry are CAKED IN MUD! Due to the painting of the bumper, I can't bring it to the car wash for 1 month. As a customer, I just don't want to be treated like a total jerk, ya know?So let's just say, I would like to calibration done by a third party. I DO NOT want to step foot into your place again!Gerber Collision & Glass Headquarters Response

I would highly recommend Gerbers Collusion and Glass on Hwy 54. I received the best customer service of my life there today. The owner personally fixed my car in the parking lot within minutes of my arrival. I asked if I could pay for his services and he refused! I was almost in tears with appreciation because I had just left a local car dealership who had quoted me $650 for the exact repair.Review from Mike G

Truck went in for repair, came out with new damage on door. Reviewed before pictures with Gerber employee while parked in their parking lot and no damage was on that specific area of the truck (no damage confirmed). Gerber GM inspected damage and came to a decision NOT to fix stating he does not believe that could have happened there. So, no damage before dropped off, photo of area in their parking lot taken by them confirming no damage, parked at their place for 30-days being repaired, and a decision made that the damage didnt happen therewhat am I missing here?? Sent an online message to Corporate headquarters, no reply for 2 weeks now!Gerber Collision & Glass Headquarters Response
