      Fairly new *** MOWER STOPPED WORKING. Too bad I cannot do less than 1 star....I am going to rate the vendor also if they continue sales of a brand that has the worst support I have experienced. I called *** support and I was told take it to a ***air shop over an hour away and it would be 3 weeks to get it ***aired. I asked for something closer and was told because I bought it from Lowes that they would ship it for ***airs. Lowes was 10 minutes away so that seemed like a better solution. ***** in Deland Fl stated they were not part of the ***air process. I called *** while at Lowes and Lowes told *** they were not part of the ***air process but would help if *** provided a return authorization to *****, to which *** refused ***eatedly. (Wonder why?). In spite of Lowes telling *** they needed a return authorization in order to help me the *** *** told me to keep trying at Lowes. Then the *** *** said *** could direct ship me a mower but it would take 30 days as *** didn't have any mowers in stock. I told them this also was unacceptable, that my grass would be 30" tall, I needed it much sooner and I wanted this issue escalated to a manager. I was told by the *** *** that an *** manager would call me back that day.....I never received a phone call. I am in the process of writing Lowes to tell them my experience with ***, make Lowes aware of the consistently low rating of ***, show them the BBB complaints on ***, and ask them to consider selling a brand that has better customer support than ***.

      I got an Ego self propelled lawn mower as a birthday present last year from my cousin in ****** ******. I liked it so much I got a trimmer, leaf blower and **** trimmer. Then got a Snow blower. It all worked fine until last week when the mower just flat died midway through mowing the front lawn. They insisted I provide a receipt. I didn't get any receipt. It was a present. And I ask myself why did I fill out the warranty on their website if they're not going to honor it? Turns out it was a computer board inside that died. Cost me $228 to fix. I certainly wont buy anything else from these *******. And I'll be telling everyone I know what I think about this absolutely ridiculous company.

      They do not honor their warranty. I was to receive an additional 2 years for a total of 5 years for registering product online. Once I contacted their customer service I was told to email the receipt and they would warranty. I did so and then was told only 3 years even though I registered online to get 5 years. They make it very difficult to get past customer service to talk to upper management about my situation. They said I could write a letter. Not even an email address seems funny in todays world.

      NEVER BUY A EGO LAWN MOWER FROM AMAZON. I bought a lawn mower last year through Amazon. I used it only for 1 season. When I used it this year first time in May, it didn't work. I was told to drop it in a service station in ********, **. They took solid 3 months to return it. It was so much of inconvenience and stressful that I had to spend a lot of money to move my lawn this year. I called the customer service almost 4 times to check when I will get back my mower. Finally I went to the service station directly after 3 months to see if they have it ready or what is the status, and they told me it was ready, so I brought it back. I tried mowing the lawn and it stopped again. I called the customer service, they told me they escalated it, a supervisor will call me back. But nothing happened. I called them back again and I get the same msg that it has been escalated and I will get a call back. I need a REPLACEMENT.

      I have had my mower less than one month. The battery will not charge or even light up. I live in a subdivision that is HOA monitored. I am being told it will be 10 to 15 days until I receive a tracking number. I will have racked up fines by then for not cutting my grass. As a company as large as Ego, you should be able to overnight items due to poor craftsmanship. I will be calling ****** to try and return and encourage them to stop selling your products, just as ********** did.

      Subpar product backed by horrible customer service and unfair policy! Beware if you are considering purchasing ANYTHING from EGO, be it on-line or in store. I purchased the self-propelled lawn mower 3 years ago and the battery went bad just over the 3 year warranty period (I've had neighbors share the same story with this very same company, too!). To clarify, the mower was purchased on-line and was not received for 26 days; meanwhile, the warranty started its expiration from the day this thieving company took my hard-earned money, instead of from the date the mower was actually received (which I provided proof of)! Additionally, if you do not call on the very first day of ANY HINT of an issue with any of their products, they will not honor their warranty (i.e. dont waste time trying to trouble shoot anything because you will end up getting hosed!)! NOTE: IT WILL COST YOU ALMOST AS MUCH TO REPLACE A BATTERY AS IT DID FOR THE ENTIRE BUNDLED MOWER PACKAGE (Around $550+tax for the mower, ***************** vs. $400 FOR A BATTERY THAT WILL NEED TO BE REPLACED EVERY 3 YEARS (well, apparently just a few days over every 3 years!))!!! A secondary issue with the self-propelled mower is that the blades on the mower consistently leave random, uncut strands of grass, requiring multiple passes over the same areas. I called Ego over a half-dozen times to discuss these issues and there was never a reasonable solution or even a compromise offered. Do yourself a favor and stay as far away from this company as possible. This company does NOT VALUE THEIR CUSTOMER BASE!! Consider other brands and ensure you familiarize yourself with their warranty policy BEFORE you fork over a single *****!

      This is the worst battery warranty experience I've ever had. My battery's lifespan has halved since purchase. I contacted support and was instructed to take my mower, battery, and charger to ****** for servicing. After a week, they claimed it functioned properly, suggesting I might be mowing ****** thick grass, causing overheating and shutdowns. However, I mow regularly at an average grass length without overheating issues; the battery simply doesn't last as long. Upon retrieval, I received a different, used charger. I reported this to Ego, along with the persistent battery issue, and was told to retrieve my original charger from ****** and await further contact regarding the battery. ******, however, lost my charger, and I've received no further communication from Ego. Attempts to seek help via their website have been futile. As a customer, I'm extremely disappointed, especially since the battery is under a 5-year warranty, and it's been less than three years.

      Horrible company. Service is terrible!!!! Purchased an electric chain saw and after a few months it stop working. I had to travel 1 hr to have it serviced. After 2 weeks was told it was n to repairable and they were contacting EGO for a replacement. This all started 5/2/9/2024 it finally got approved on 6/6/24 finally got management approval. Called twice and told that they were waiting on product because it was out of stock. Now this is over a month and still nothing. DO NOT BUY FROM EGO.

      BUYER BEWARE - very poor customer service!! Shoddy products. Paid $800 for a self propelled electric lawn mower 5 years ago from ********** who no longer carry their products. Lawn mower quit 10 days before 5 year warranty expired . Probably RELAY system. Thought only the battery had a three year warranty so called ********** initially and after a few calls there, they stated they wouldn't fix it. Then watched a complex ******* video but beyond our skill to fix. Called company finally who supplied a repair place 1.5 hours away who refused to repair anything not purchased from them. Called EGO again and called another repair place they supplied which was 3 hours outside of *******, ** where we live. They were unable to provide service as understaffed, well could get to it by Christmas! Called a third repair place supplied by the last dealer, also 1.5 hours away.....unable to do the repair for 3 months. Called Ego a fourth time and was told we should have called the day the product broke as now a week or two had past since the warranty expired so they could not repair it, give us a replacement or supply a service dealer within the province. LANDFILL! *******.

      I would not buy products from them, only after having their weed eater a year the product broke, after set up an account for the warranty I got two different answers on whether or not it was covered. then they denied the coverage after taking to their approved service center at northern tool by the way charges 60$ even if it's covered under the warranty. no wonder they don't have an account with ********************. the reviews are horrible. should have looked here first!!!!!!
