    I'd rate no stars if possible!!! I purchased a **** Wrangler brand new, I've maintained & up kept my vehicle & have serviced it when anything needed to be done! I took it in for ************** claimed they would get back to me, which they NEVER did I'm the one who had to keep calling to see what was going on with my vehicle. When they finally get back to me they tell me that the engine needed to be open to figure out what was wrong with it! They never checked to see if my warranty was even still valid, it had expired in ************ never mentioned it to me so I told them to do what they had to do so I can figure out what was wrong with my vehicle. After 3 days they finally quoted me $7000 for repairs then told me my warranty was expired!! I then told them I'd take my vehicle elsewhere for a second opinion. I was still charged $980, I tried to dispute the charges because they should have informed me prior that my warranty had already expired & they said there was nothing they could do for me! They hand me my key & let me drive off. My truck overheated 2 blocks away from the dealer! It had readings on the dashboard that I had never seen before! I had to get it towed to my home! After it being checked by a mechanic, he said to me that my engine had blew, they put my engine back & never replaced ANY OF THE FLUIDS that they had removed from my vehicle!!! After I told them I'd take it elsewhere they didn't care at all anymore! They basically made my situation worse! I've yet to hear from anyone at this point.

    The vehicle was brought in for diagnosis as stated "CUSTOMER STATES CHECK ENGINE LIGHT IS ON. VEHICLE HAS STALLED OUT MULTIPLE TIMES AND SHAKES"The customer was told that there was a diagnosis that needed to be done in order to verify what the cause was. We were then told by the customer that the vehicle has an extended warranty.The customers vehicle had ****** when it was brought here for diagnosis When the warranty company was called, they stated that in order to start the claim they would need to know the cause of failure prior to starting the claim. The diagnosis for discovery is always something that would need to be pre-authorized by the customer. The customer approved the teardown and understood that once the cause of failure was found, we would submit it to the warranty company. At that point, if the warranty company would decline the repair the customer would be responsible for the teardown and would need to decide how to proceed. The customer understood this. The vehicle had an aftermarket warranty that expired on 4-21-2024 OR ****** miles. The vehicle was brought to us on 9-11-2024 with ****** miles.The vehicle warranty had expired both by miles and by time. We would not know that as this is an aftermarket warranty company. Regardless though, the process to diagnose the vehicle would have been the same even if the warranty was valid.The diagnosis showed that the vehicle needed engine replacement due to the damage caused by the right side cylinders misfiring and leaking coolant into the cylinder. The customer elected not to move forward with the repairs. We then reassembled the engine, the oil and coolant were filled as required and the vehicle was released without repairs to the underlying ************ the customer verified by taking it to another mechanic... the vehicle needs extensive engine repair. This is what we told her as well. Unfortunately, they don't have a warranty and this is an expensive repair so I understand the customer is frustrated however, we did not cause the issue and we were clear as to what needed to be done to diagnose the vehicle.
