            I entered a contract with *** on November 13 to replace my roof, gutter system and drywall/paint in a water damaged room, the laundry room, with a 30 year shingle warranty and 10-year workmanship warranty through ***. I paid 50% up front of $12,230. The roof was replaced on November 27. On the 28th, I heard their building was for sale and they were going out of business, not from *** but from someone else. This meant the 10-year workmanship warranty through them would not be honored. When I questioned the office manager, she said they were going to pay $300 for an extended warranty through the shingle company Certainteed for me. In researching the warranty, it has a low 1 rating and several complaints. This warranty isnt comparable when *** has a 5 star rating. I am a return customer and with my last roof they came out promptly 7 times to repair leaks, which would have cost me at least $1400 without the warranty. I am asking *** for a credit for the warranty, but they are offering $300. The warranty in the contract is worth much more to me as a consumer.

            Our experience with this company wasn't a good one. They came out in June to give us an estimate on a siding job. Stayed about *************************************************************************************** a few days. Nothing but crickets after that. Called to see what the delay was, said the sales rep would call us back. Never did. Tried calling again, but they wouldn't answer phone or return our call after leaving a voice message. We found another company to do the job, but it took longer to get started because this compamy wasted our time. They may do very good work , they have a lot of good reviews. But before you call them ask yourself how you would feel if you were treated like this.
