It says it was opened on 06/29/2018 for $4,900.00 with account number starting in ************* that I am not aware of nor am I responsible for. I never went into business with this company or signed any agreements with them so they should not be reporting anything on my credit. A week before Oct. 14th I had requested that Indiana Finance Company cancel my Auto Pay for my car payments. I was told on the phone call that the Auto Pay had been cancelled. On Oct. 13th I had voluntarily surrendered my vehicle back to ********** before my next payment with Indiana Finance Company was set to be paid on Oct. 14th. On Oct. 14th, despite being told that my Auto Pay was cancelled and after I had already relinquished ownership of the vehicle, Indiana Finance Company took $292 out of my bank account without authorization. When I called to get a refund back for the money they took (which I have most of the phone call recorded), I was told that the Director of Indiana Finance had overlooked my request for the refund and had denied the refund. The associate that I talked to on the phone (while I was recording), when I asked him specifically "that the Director was ok with the theft of the money from my account", replied saying "yes" that the Director of Indiana Finance Company was ok with the theft of my money from my bank account since they did not have authorization to pull the money and that the Director denied me the refund.

************** contacted IFC on 10/5 to advise he lost his job, but that he would get 2 more full paychecks and severance.  It was agreed we would look at options to help him and that the payment on 10/14 needed to go through.  Then he called on 10/11 asking what he could do to get out of his contract,  IFC explained was not an option. Then ************** called back on 10/13 saying he was surrendering the car. Never in any of those conversations did he ask about canceling his recurring payments.  When he called on the 14th after it went through and asked it be canceled, that is when IFC canceled the recurring payments.  ************* is still responsible for his remaining contract balance.

[Provide details of why you are not satisfied with this resolution.]

I do not accept the response from Indiana Finance Company due to the fact that they admit that I relinquished ownership of the truck the day before the payment was due to be paid and that I called letting them know that I relinquished the truck. At that point they are not authorized to pull payments until after the truck is sold at auction to determine the remaining balance that I owe and since I no longer own the truck. I know I called to tell them to stop auto payments a week before the payment was due, but even if I didn't all auto payments are to stop if the truck is relinquished or repossessed. And I still have a phone recording of the company telling me that the Director of Indiana Finance Company had declined my request for a refund and that he was ok with the ***** of my money.

I have updated my telephone number and email address to the Indiana finance company. They then started that they did not have this updated information when in fact I emailed them and text messaged them the updated information. ****** a representative at Indiana finance the yesterday was on the phone screaming above me and stated what Fees were owed when I had my car picked up from a tow company in ******** Indiana . I was given no notice. I then got on the phone with someone named ******** at Indiana Finance and she was just as rude if not even more rude. She was very nasty and gross with her tone. She stated she does not care if I have my vehicle or not. She then stated she wanted me to stop talking. She then decided to not send me the details regarding what was being paid in a text message like I requested and she said she would . I am now being robbed. She did not call me back or send the text message regarding the $1247.00 that was paid to their company. It was stated to me that these funds would cover all cost associated with the car to be picked up. I then called yesterday after borrowing money from a cousin and the male representative that answered the phone on the recorded line stated that the payment would be sent to them for me to pick up my vehicle. I then call the company that has my vehicle and they say I owe $125 to pick up my vehicle. ******** stated that there was a $750 charge for this company that Picked my car up. A $125-$150 charge that is the holding fee. $40 collateral protection fee and a car payment along side another fee for processing. I am unable to get my car out because these individuals are stealing money from me and are now not allowing me to get my vehicle. I get on the phone with this new representative and she then sends me a text message that reads charges that I did not agree to. $565.00 repo fee to us - $40.00 to CPC, $642.00 past due in payment Redemption $75.00 Property(to agent) - $75.00 Storage(to agent) $40.00

My husband and I bought our 2011 ******* Santa Fe fro. The ******************** financed through thei financing company Indiana Finance in December 2021. Right after the purchase we had a caliper lock up, they repaired it and didn't charge us. Then the car jerked everytime it shifted, this was a problem with the suspension on the passenger side. The service center tried to say it just needed an alignement and they sent it for that but that sevice center couldn't do it because there was a legitimate problem with the suspension. Then they finally fox ut begrudgingly. I get it back and a couple weeks go by then it won't start. My husband is REALLY good with cars and checks it out and it is the fuel pump. We let the service center know and they take it in and claim they can't find the problem. I ended up contacting Indiana Finance and they help me encourage the service team to fix that, turns out it was the fuel pump, they replace it. Then we get it back and a couple weeks later it starts leaking oil after an oil change, my husband, totally let down by the service center at this point, fixes it himself. Then a couple weeks later, it wont start. We sent it to a different mechanic and have the alternator changed and pay $1100 out of pocket to fix. Then get it back and and it's still intermittently not starting. Call Indiana Financing and they say to send it in, it's the fuel pump AGAIN. They fix it but charge us almost $300 for tow and labor. When my husband picks it up the check engine light is on, he takes it back to them and it's going to be another $600 to fix! Indiana Finances only resolution is to loan us money to fix it. We have had it in the shop or parked more than I have been able to drive it. We can't keep doing this. My husband and I both work full-time and have two kids. We need a WORKING car. We don't have the finances to keep "fixing" it. Please help!!!!

      Regards,

i have e mails from ****, my assigned loan manager where the company acknowledged that my paydays where mondays.
indiana fincane company originally told me that they would change be able to " update" the system. That date has passed since before the repossession. I have a recorded statement from a representative named **** stating that he didn't like the way I spoke to his employees and he also admitted he used the late payment out of spite to repossess the vehicle. The company was very aware of my new payday and accepted it but I was told by **** that they would change it. Clearly Indiana fincane violated the contract. My payments have been on time and can be backed by e-mails from ****. I was reassigned a loan manager and that loan manager told me he was going to over ride the contract and extend it for two weeks. I didn't see the payment dates change after that conversation. I called and was forwarded to ****** voicemail and left a massage addressing my concern with no reply. The way I speak to somebody has absolutely nothing to due with the contract. We can reference this recording with **** through voice memo on my tablet. **** stated on the recording that he had to make a business decision based on the way I spoke to an employee.

not only did the company acknowledge my paydays being mondays they lied to me about that being ok. If it wasn't ok a representative should have said that. There's no reason for this company to lie and then take from a returne customer.
with on time payments. We can reference the emails, voice recording, and the contract. Unfortunately Indiana fincane is clearly
wanting to provoke pain and suffering. I will be contacting local media with my case evidence to see if this case can reach the air. I donot want my community to trust a local business to exercise practices in deceit.

Indiana finance partially admits that we did have agreements out side of the regular payment due date. Though we have agreements in email, Indiana finance refuses to acknowledge that mondays were the agreed payment day for a long span of time. As far as the law is concerned no threats were made towards Indiana finance. If there was to be any pending investigations into any threats law enforcement would have " contacted " me. Indiana finance is holding a grudge and avoiding the fact that they towed the car completely out of animosity. They admitted this verbally. I didnt sign anything that says I have to pay them a extra $20 a week for insurance.
The insurance issue is a shady tactic they use when they want to sound justifed. It was not a problem untill I made a problem for them. Like a second grader that says " I'll get you back" None of these issues by Indiana Finance were originally stated in their first response. Which shows their lack of ambition to be honest. A majority of Indiana finance's repair for the most should be considered hearsay.

I went into Oakmotors to purchase a car on 05/18/2022. I was pressured into giving Oakmotors money to hold vehicle which i paid the 1500$ deposit. The next day upon coming to sign papers and take possession of vehicle I was told that i had to pay an extra 650$ called deferred down payment. There is no refund of 1500$ i put down day before so i was forced to pay an extra 650$. Then im told that these deferred down payments had to be made at the car lot and are due weekly. Ive made three $130 payments and 4th was due Friday. Problem is I am a long distance transporter which i disclosed that im not always in town to which i was told that after deferred dow payment was completed i could pay online. However today 05/16/22 i received call stating that Indiana Finance is not going to extend me a loan nor refund my money. Indiana Finance say they help people build credit however they offer no grace ****** on payments and if your payment is not in by due date they reserve the right to cancel the loan. 1 week after getting vehicle i had to take back for brake work and put a new set of tires on vehicle. Making the payment was not an issue however I dont work in the city so being home every friday is a problem and caused them to not hold my account nor offer me financing which i thought i had financing when i signed papers and released all my information to this company.

On Tuesday 3/29/2022 my car was repoed by IFC for $40 . I called and explained that the recording told me fto pay a different amount($210) that what you guys said I owed($250). I explained that it was an honest mistake. I was met with a lot of sarcarsm. I lady that picked up the phone ******** was very short with me to the point where I'd at all feel as if this lady had my best interest at heart. I ask what it would cost to return the car to me she stated she didn't know and would have to email the director then she proceeded to tell me that I had no right to purchase a car for my son I ask how if he lives in my home and I'm making the payments and I bought the insurance in my name for both of us in front of the sales person so if its against the law that would make the contract null and void. I've ask to speak with the owner she refused, I asked to speak to another representative she again refused I'asked to speak to her superior she stikk refused. I hung up and called back to see if I could get a better understanting she keeps Picking up as if to say she not going to allow me to speak with anyone else I this point Its fine if you don't want to return to car however I don't think A conversation with the owner is to much to ask. When did I stop being the consumer. I would grately appreciate a phone call from the owner of this company ********** or ******************* and never to ever deal with or speak to ******** again other than a written apology from ******** for her rude and offensive I also love for her to explain the difference between me and any other customer that gifted their son or daughter a car that they paid for. Again other than a written apology I'd like to speak with someone else I can believe I tried to recommend oak motors to my own family to only be treated like this you repoed my car for $40 and then hold some offensive tone with me There is a way to say you dont want to do business with me with out making me feel belittled and disrespected.

IFC attempted to contact her numerous times to bring her account current - by phone call, text, and email.

************ never responded to these attempts, and her account became ten days past due.

Based on this default, her vehicle was repossessed.

I bought a car from ********** on 11/15/21 finance through Indiana Finance. Im really trying to figure why these people continue financing anyone they say second chance but fell to tell you the staff from the finance company will talk and treat your like a second class citizen. I understand they have no ***** periods but what I dont understand is how they repod my car I paid the past due and the extra added charges they trumped in there and was supposedly completely caught up. I advised ******* who was fired I started a new job and was no longer being paid every week but every two weeks now. Per ******* she was changing it in the system. For whatever reason ******* is no longer with the company and I end up with *******. Right from the start she was rude as h*** Per ******* my account needed to be current before they could switch. Now they way these people do business I know good and well they wouldnt have released my car without . So now that I cant pay 135 every week my car is up for repo again. I made an arrangement so that I didnt get the harassing calls my pay date isnt until 04/07 the arrangement is for 04/07 and still they put a repo out. Im starting to believe this is how they are collecting the extra money from customers. Not sure if its being pocketed or what but this purchase is stressful and to be called and harassed and disrespected like Im less than human is really uncalled for. The management team are just as heartless these people act as if they have never had a late payment or issue. I wouldnt refer my worst enemy to **********.
