We were prepared to buy 1 vehicle out right and trade in my wifes car for a newer car making a total of 2 sales at one time. We were working with a salesman at Capital City Chrysler in Dunkirk *******. After searching this lot and their sister lot ********* Chrysler in ********* **** we located a car we liked on the ** lot. The vehicle we were going to trade for was on the IN lot. The IN lot contacted the OH lot to make sure the vehicle was still available and was told it was and everything was good to go with the transfer. The dealership ran our credit and set up the financing and had everything in place and was told we had to wait a few days so they could get the car from OH to IN. We were told that the vehicle was ours and we just needed to wait for it to be brought over. We set an appointment for a few days later and went on our way with everyone being happy. The next day our salesman contacted us and said when they showed up to pick up the vehicle, they were told that the OH lot had went ahead and sold it late the night before and that we were out of luck. We were told the financing and deal we had made on the vehicle the day before didnt matter because someone else came in after we had already secured it and wanted it so they tossed our deal out and resold it to someone else. We were told multiple times that the OH lot screwed. we finally tried to contact management since none had reached out to us. We were told multiple times that a member of management would reach out to us. We never received contact back.He belittled us, told us he knew nothing of any of this and he really didnt care. He made several comments that our salesman was to blame. ***** continued to ******** us even saying that if we had better credit or more money, we wouldnt be concerned about our credit being ran and what they did would not have been an issue. He made the comment that he got paid and made a sale and that is all that matters.
