      I went out of town for three days and accidentally set my garden soaker hose timer to water 45 minutes every hour rather than every day! When I came home the side of my home and my neighbor's home was flooded. My water bill was $295.00 with $163.46 in sewer charges. I contacted Fort Wayne City Utilities requesting a sewer adjustment since most of the water usage did not go into the sewer. They told me to email them with the detailed information I had given on the phone and they would issue an adjustment. I sent the email with the dates and photos and received an email back stating, "We have received and reviewed your sewer adjustment request. After careful consideration, we unfortunately cannot approve your request for one or more of the following reasons: 1. Insufficient or no evidence presented that water did not pass through the sewer system, and 2. Insufficient evidence proving repairs have been completed."I called the phone number on the email and talked to the representative asking why it was not approved since I submitted photos and ground water does NOT pass through the sewer system. I then told her I have two neighbors who will sign an affidavit verifying my claim. She put me on hold and came back telling me that now they just changed their policy and no longer do sewer adjustments.What?? Just be truthful instead of completely doing a 180 when I provided proof. Why the dishonesty? Fort Wayne City Water you should be ashamed of yourself for not having character and integrity!! I hate that I have no choice for my water supplier and have to deal with such a dishonest and corrupt company. If they are dishonest about this, I'm sure they are being dishonest about our quality of water!! Disgusting!!

      I live all alone and was given a $887 water bill for water I did not use. Supposedly, I used over ******+ gallons of water and won't be communicated with. I've asked for someone to please come and check and help me discover where that water went. I hired a plumber and there are no leaks. This company won't communicate with you and will have no issue doing you dirty. I am sick with their poor business.

      Make me sick. Disconnect notices to those who do not want remote reading in their homes are getting shut off notices for Customers who are paid in full and up to date. They are Violating our Constitutional Rights to decide what does or does NOT go on our privately owned Homes. THIS IS BS. THE ***** SIGNED BY THE UTILITY BOARD ALSO STATES THEY CAN COME INTO OUR HOMES DURING REGULAR HOURS FOR THE PURPOSE OF THE REMOTE READERS/ AGAIN A VIOLATION OF MY CONSTITUTIONAL RIGHTS. ITS TIME FOR A MAJOR LAWSUIT AGAINST THE CITY FOR NOT PROTECTING OUR RIGHT TO CHOOSE WHAT HAPPENS ON OUR OWN PROPERTIES. WE NEED TO HAVE A BIG ALL INCLUSIVE FOR ALL CITY RESIDENTS AND BUSINESSES TO FILE SUIT TOGETHER AND ASK FOR DAMAGES. START AT 1 MILLION PER PROPERTY UNTIL THEY ************.

      My water got shut off before I got the paper invoice.. so I scheduled it to be turned back on after paying it all, told I would get a phone call 30 minutes out. I missed a call from No Caller ID because I am also an office administrator and was on the phone with a customer. No voicemail was left, no call back number, no text, nothing. 22 minutes later I get a ring alert that the water company is there and Im going to be charged $56 for a missed appointment. The receptionist essentially told me that it doesnt matter Im being charged. None of the supervisors were in so I had to leave a voicemail and hope they can get back to me in 24hours. They see no issue with any of this. This is not how you treat human beings. How do I get a different water company because its almost worth it to move!!
