Tried to return a part I ordered from the parts department. Never heard anything back from my return request so I emailed the department. A week went by and I decided to just call, the guy on the phone asked me if I still had the part... which was what I needed to return in the first place. I said "yes, as I said I need to return it". He told me to just drop it off and they'd credit me. I told him I had it shipped and asked if I can ship it back instead. He told me to just ship it myself to the parts department and they would credit me. Never gave me a return address or instructions or confirmation on how I would be reimbursed. He hung up and I was left wondering if I'd ever get my money back if I shipped it back to them.The customer service line provided in the "return request confirmation" email I had received a month ago took me to a spam call center telling me I won hearing aids, and yes I made sure it was the correct number provided for their customer service line. I'm now receiving calls from subaru dealerships all over the region asking me how they can help sell me a new subaru. I'm fine with my used subaru that simply needs a new part, I feel like this is a big scam and I wouldn't trust them again.
