I am a patient at clean slate for my treatment of opiate abuse disorder. They are suppose to provide a extremely helpful drug named Suboxone for my treatment. The company likes to put strict rules on their patients to withhold this life-saving drug from them. You must reschedule with no guarantees if you break their rules. Like being one minute late to your appointment. You have no grace ****** at all. I have NEVER heard of a medical office doing this.. Life happens. You may end up going days without this medication putting you in life-threatening withdraw. Many addicts suffer from seizures without this medication. If you cannot provide a urine sample of nothing less than 30 cc's regardless of the reasons why, they will also refuse to give you the medication. This includes for medical reasons. They also promise to provide a safe and respectful environment for their patients. My personal experience has been stressful and humiliating. I come to my appointments extremely stressed that something could happen and ill be late or I cant pee enough. Then will be told to come back tomorrow IF something is available so this could mean I could be coming back days later all the while without my medication. I don't believe any medication that is prescribed to you should be withheld for ***** reasons. An incident happened to me today that has been the final straw. I was trying to give a sample but dropped the first in the toilet so was told I would have to give a second sample while a nurse watched. This was okay, but when I could not produce the second sample. ( I have five mins to do so) I was trying to explain to the nurse my kidney problems. She became frustrated and decided to not give me my allotted time and opened the bathroom door while I was still on the toilet with my pants down exposing me to the office. It was so degrading. I had to leave without my medication after being treated so badly.
